I bought my first professional camera in 2005, and have not been able to put it down since. I snapped photographs of everything I could, but found my true passion was capturing emotions and people. I began photographing friends in my acting class at Howard Fine, and quickly learned comfortability in front of the camera led to the best shots.

I booked Jeff for my brother's and sister's headshots and full body shots. I specifically told him that that's what I needed on the day of the shoot and he told that he would get both kinds of shots. When I got the images, they were all taken from weird angles and there were only a couple of full body shots. The full body shots cropped out my sister's feet. When I emailed him about this issue, he said that agents won't care if the feet are slightly cropped out of the photo. I think that this is so unprofessional. I paid for unusable images and he tried to justified the reasoning for his mistake

I had a great time getting headshots done with Jeff! He was fun, professional, and made the whole experience an easy (and painless) one. I went with the make-up artist and I do recommend that for a stress free day (getting your photo taken is already stressful enough, right?!). Have your favorite music in mind because he will play whatever gets you jazzed up!
His studio is in a good location and if you need help with the parking situation - he will help you!

Book him! Wow I adored my experience working with him and the results were amazing. He understands the industry and what looks get you booked, and he's great at helping bring those looks out of you. We came to Jeff for headshots for my 5 year old daughter who had never had a photoshoot before. Prior to the shoot, Jeff was very thorough and patient in our communications reagarding my questions and requests. He was very easy to work with and instantly put my daughter at ease. I could tell that she was being very comfortable and confident under his lead. After the shot was done, he even went out of his way to take extra shots with all the different colors of backdrops that my daughter wanted to try out. I really loved my photo shoot experience and even more the results. Jeff is super easy to work with, fun and professional. He responds quickly when I've needed different headshots to be retouched. Jeff is the best! I recently hired him to do my head shots. I've never had head shots done and had been wanting to do it forever but have always been scared. Jeff really knows how to put you at ease. He's shot several booking headshots for me through the years and there's no one else I'd shoot with in town. You'll feel comfortable from the get go. He'll coach you through everything. I couldn't be more happy with the experience I had with Jeff as a photographer. I normally feel awkward or shy in a headshot session, but Jeff made the entire afternoon feel like I was just working on a movie set (becoming the different characters I wanted to portray in my pictures). I thought Jeff was very fast about getting me pictures to choose from and I was the one who took forever picking favorites because there were SO many good photos! This was by far the most fun and inspirational photo shoot I have ever had. Jeff really got what I was going for, and what my vision was. Jeff is incredibly fun to work with and I love my photos! Jeff's the man. Plain and simple. I've taken Headshots with Jeff on three occasions now and each time I've been more than satisfied with the results. The couple of other places I had been to prior to meeting Jeff made me feel restricted and stuffy, resulting in subpar prints.

Jeff was the first headshot photographer I used in LA (been here for almost 4 years), and thanks to his eye and ease to be around while shooting, I've taken some great headshots. I go out very regularly thanks to the pictures he took, including one that just keeps getting me in the rooms.

Jeff was a pleasure to work with. I was a bit nervous prior to the shoot because I don't have too much experience w/ pictures. In fact, I HATE having my picture taken. Jeff made me comfortable super quick w/ his cheery personality. I just had a blast shooting with Jeff. Shooting commercial shots or dramatic shots can feel unnatural sometimes so it was good to have a photographer that cracked me up when I needed to smile and then gave me great things to think about when I needed more inner emotionally looks for dramatic shots.
