Since 1933, Foundation Credit Union has been operating within the Springfield community. During our first 80 years, we were Springfield Teachers Credit Union, serving the employees of Springfield Public Schools. Throughout the 2000's we began to grow, adding new counties eligible for membership each year.

For nearly a decade, Foundation Credit Union has offered share accounts along with share draft accounts to the Missouri counties of Greene, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Lawrence, Polk, and Webster. We work tirelessly to provide our members with the best account services. We do business in accordance with the Federal Fair Housing Law and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act.

Foundation Credit Union has two locations. Our main branch is located at 1426 W Elfindale St and our second branch is located at 2823 S Ingram Mill Rd. Foundation Credit Union offers General Membership Accounts including minor accounts and Trust Accounts. Both our Elfindale and Ingram Mill branches have lobby hours Monday - Friday 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and drive-thru hours from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

The most frustrating thing is the lack of access to your account (which I suppose it's good if you're needing to save money) and how everything is so much more incredibly difficult to accomplish. You wanna change your address on file? Gotta fill out this form. Want to transfer your money to your other local bank account? Oh we can't do that. It's 2020, they need to work on getting their processes updated. Other banks are able to do these things easily, for them it seems a hassle. I'm very frustrated as I've had an account with them for seven years. I will probably seek elsewhere because I'm not
