Fantastic experience and exemplary customer service! I’m very particular when it comes to style and fit, but the optician, Joanne (sp?), went above and beyond to help me pick out a new pair of eyeglasses. She was super friendly and patient! The receptionist was also kind and easy to reach. I’m very glad Dr. McVey’s office was able to accommodate me when no other eye doctor in the area seemed to have time. I will definitely be back - thank you!

Let me start by saying the Doctor is phenomenal. Unfortunately, her front office staff are horrible. They purposely leave out information your insurance tells them so they can charge you more than you already paid.
I shelled out $400 for glasses and contacts under the understanding that whenever I needed to order contacts, I could. When I picked up my contacts, I was told if you like them fine, order them whenever. If not come back in and we will see what's going on and try something else.
Well, here I am trying to order contacts as I've been using my glasses since I work from home

I have never had such a complete thorough exam of my eyes and explaining the health of my eyes after the exam A plan of action was explaind to me And helped my vision tremendously.
I was fitted for contacts and purchase two very high-quality pairs of glasses.
The team in the office is very personable and efficient and easy to deal with for your eye needs.
I would highly recommend!

Dr. McVey is very knowledgeable, thorough and she explains all that she's doing. I went to her initially 15 years ago, looking for someone who had knowledge about my particular eye issues. I have never been disappointed. When it came time to consider surgery for cataracts, she gave me all the info I needed to make the decision. Her staff is always professional and polite. My son went to her and said he had never experienced such a thorough initial exam. Dr. McVey and her staff come highly recommended!

Dr. McVey is wonderful, I just had the most thorough eye exam ever. Her staff is equally professional and helpful. We have been searching for a new eye doctor for two years; I'm so happy to say we have found a home for our eye care. Honestly im at a loss for all the great reviews. I knows she's a very smart and knowledgeable lady. Her staff was super kind and awesome but Dr. McVey made me feel uncomfortable and like an idiot the entire visit. Looking back on the experience I think she treated me very poorly. Her tone is super abrasive at times and she isn't very warm or friendly....at least not to me she wasn't. I tried to be nice and roll with the punches considering I'd never been to an eye doctor before and didn't know what the heck to expect...but would I go here ever again? Nah.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A few months ago my husband had his first exam and eyeglass purchase from Dr. McVey and was so happy with his experience & quality & accuracy of glasses, that I made an appt., too. I received the most thorough eye exam, discussion of my vision & medical conditions impacting it, and eye care that I have ever had.My eyeglass selection was guided by an expert optician who was patient & helpful with selection and skilled in measurement for my progressive and my computer/office lenses. The entire staff made it an excellent experience and the office itself is clean & very attractive

Dr. and her staff are absolutely amazing! Myself and my daughter recently moved back to the Phoenix area year ago and the office was listed as a preferred provider on my insurance. She worked us in with in a reasonable amount of time and spent a very extensive period of time explaining and teaching us as well. In all my years of wearing glasses this is the first time a tech has ever explained measurements and fittings to me as well as this one did. They even worked my son in within 24 hours when he was visiting out of town and ran out of contacts and his prescription had expired. Highly recommend

Dr. McVey is extremely knowledgeable and thorough in caring for your eyes. I never feel rushed and she always makes sure to answer all of my questions. I have a difficult prescription and where others have failed in fitting me for contact lenses, she has excelled! The entire office staff is very welcoming and friendly. Dr McVey is very knowledgeable, helpful, and so thorough ! I was even finished with my exam and remembered I had another question for her. She didn't even hesitate to come out of the other exam room to assist me with my question and then even look at my eyes again so she could explain to me what I was seeing. I've been going to her for over 10 years and I absolutely love her and her team !

Best eye doctor in the state! She is gifted at determining your needs and explains your eyes to you so it is clear and understandable. She is able to relate your vision needs to your occupation or hobbies. One of my moms friends went to her and she knew they had cancer by looking at her eyes. She was sensitive and caring when explaining it- even had a referral for s cancer doctor immediately the same day. She treats everyone in my family and we are all more than satisfied with the service.

Dr. McVey is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and, most of all, friendly and easy to understand! I've been wearing contacts for 15+ years and NO ONE has ever explained contact hygiene and the reason the doctors tell you what they tell you like she did! She works with you to get them right, never frustrated, always honest and always accommodating! Highly, highly, highly recommend! Don't go to the big box stores where you're just a number!

I have been a patient under Dr. McVey's care for about 20 years. The service I receive from her and her staff has always been top notch. She shows a true concern for my well being and is very thorough in my eye care. It is not a "one size" fit all care but rather adjusted for my needs. I trust her.
