Dr. Steed spent his early life in Alberta, Canada, where he was raised in a farming community just near the Rocky Mountains. He received part of his undergraduate studies while in Alberta but later moved to Utah where he studied at Brigham Young University. He received his doctorate studies from the California College of Podiatric Medicine, which was later renamed Merritt College.
We pride in being a leading foot and ankle specialist in Longmont with over a decade in practice helping people with different foot challenges around Longmont, CO. We also have different foot care products including toe pads, skin creams/gels & sprays, fracture boots and braces to treat or prevent different foot challenges including toenail fungus, shoe odor and athletes foot.
Laser technology is an innovative treatment option for toenail fungus. To put it simply, a small laser beam is aimed at the diseased nail, killing the bacteria causing toenail fungus. While oral medication can lead to serious health problems, and topicals cannot always permeate the stubborn bacteria that lies underneath the nail, Laser technology provides an option that is safe, and proven effective.
When you schedule your appointment please have your insurance information handy and already have a couple of days and/or morning/afternoon preferences. 2. Most likely we will have you come in early to complete the check-in process and/or in some cases to take x-rays which will vary depending on the type of visit.
For patients under age, please fill in their full name and DOB, not the parent or guardian name. Once you fill in the name and DOB, you will be taken to a secure payment page to put in more detailed information. The name and DOB above, simply tells us what patient to attach the payment to in our medical software.

Dr. Steed and his team are amazing. I have battled toenail fungus for more than half my life, after two laser treatments and topicals they are looking the best they ever have. Dr. Steed and his team gave me options for packages, they never forced anything or tried to upsell. Dr. Steed has been the only successful podiatrist to help "cure" this b**** that is toenail fungus!

Best there is. Provided script for needed braces and went directly to recommended provider and arranged for appointment and completed al necessary paperwork. Dr. Steed has always treated my foot problems with utmost care. Extremely pleasant and his staff also. update - continues to be Best foot and ankle care. My treatment for problem nail care because of peripheral neuropathy is best. With the numbing of legs and feet I no longer cut the end of my toe off when trimming nails. The professional Dr Steed is the one and only for that task.

Dr. Steed is a wonderful doctor with a great manner. He checks the feet over carefully and takes care of nails quickly and very efficiently. He also discusses the health of the feet and the person as he does this. My husband enjoys seeing him as he can leave the nails to someone else. One small but very important item to be taken care of. If you are in need of nail care, he is the one to trust.

I went to Dr. Steed for a second opinion after trying a number of things with my previous podiatrist that didn't resolve the pain problems in my foot. He spent about 30 minutes with me discussing the issue and talking about previous treatments, then suggested more things we could try before having to resort to surgery. After my first visit, I feel as though there may actually be a solution in my future. Dr. Steed explained everything thoroughly. The office staff is very friendly and helpful.

Dr Steed gave me several options to treat my pain in my foot and understood that I wanted to treat and prevent reoccurence. He did not immediately try to push orthotics on me and we discussed self care and various treatment options.
He taped my heel, and I had immediate relief. He showed me how to tape it and what to use with my stretches.

I saw Dr. Steed for a simple nail problem. He explained everything so that I could understand it. He gave me my options, including partial nail removal but never pushed this procedure on me. I tried an at home remedy that he gave me, worked like a charm. If I need services again I will go back to Dr. Steed. Belinda (front office) is very sweet and helpful!

I have had two occasions to use Dr. Steed's services, one regarding an infection of a toe which was successfully treated and the second visit to determine alternatives in the treatment of a hammer toe issue. The review of the alternatives was explained fully and pending outcome of other issues, I plan on proceeding with a treatment protocol as soon as possible.

I have going to Flatirons for several months to treat a chronic foot problem. Dr. Steed and staff have been very accommodating and helpful. Time is taken to treat and discuss any issue and I leave understanding the treatment and prognosis. They have been gracious in handling insurance and job issues. I've always been seen close to the appointment time and the office is neat and clean.
