The Scuba Club
In business since 1972, The Scuba Club is the longest running dive operation in Florida. We set out to bring divers that "country club" atmosphere with special member perks, such as discounts on dives, rental equipment and gear purchases. We also offer foreign dive trips and social functions throughout the year.

Our boat is conveniently located at the Riviera Beach Marina, while our fully stocked pro shop is just minutes away on Northlake Boulevard. As a Scubapro Platinum Dealer, we have an expert staff of specially trained instructors and divemasters to arm divers with the knowledge and skills they need for a safe and comfortable underwater experience.
Services
Getting certified for NITROX is simple. All you have to do is take a 1.5 hour classroom only course or it can be done as a study at home class with the book. Learn lifesaving, accident management, and accident prevention to make diving safer for you and your buddy. Learn how to be a professional. This comprehensive course covers dive planning, management, and an in-depth look at dive theory.
Where will we be diving? We have over 25 different dive sites, no more than 30 minutes from our dock, which include both natural reefs and artificial reefs (shipwrecks). Most dives occur along limestone "ledges" which are home to sponges, hard and soft corals, and an abundance of fish life.

The current varies from day to day so typically we like to asess the conditions once we are out in the ocean and determine our dive site based on that information. What type of dive will we do? All of our dives are "drift" dives. We dive in a group and drift along the reef with the current. The divemaster/instructor will have a large marker buoy that they will carry which let's the boat easily monitor the position of the divers.
Tucked away in northern Palm Beach County, yet centrally located between Palm Beach and Juno and Jupiter Beaches, the BEST WESTERN PLUS Palm Beach Gardens Hotel & Suites and Conference Center is nestled among shopping centers, office buildings, and residential neighborhoods.

Equally as rich in history and architecture, The Brazilian Court Hotel & Beach Club has been meticulously restored as one of the quintessential Palm Beach and West Palm Beach hotels. The Brazilian Court Hotel & Beach Club offers an elegant private retreat featuring luxurious accommodations and impeccable service surrounded by lushly landscaped courtyards.

We love the Scuba Club. We came down for a 5 day mini-moon and decided to get scuba certified. Ken and his team were super flexible with our travel schedule and we’re so helpful in getting us into the water! Can’t wait to come back to FL and dive with them again!

I completed my PADI Certification with Ken at The Scuba Club. Him and his staff were a lot of fun, very nice, knowledgeable and professional. Ken is passionate about diving and knows where all the best aquatic sites/life are. On our dive by Phil Foster park we saw so many awesome things (ship wreck, octopus, barracuda, 3 sea horses, star fish, scorpion fish, spade fish, and so many more!!). We also saw a nurse shark another day. Ken also brought his GoPro and we were able to take a few cool photos.
I would recommend The Scuba Club to anyone (beginners or advanced divers) because there is something

Absolutely fantastic dive operation.
I’ve been coming down to dive with Ken for years now. As an instructor myself, it’s great to see a dive operation that follows safety protocols and can still have a good time. They are easy going and will make you laugh every time you’re out diving with them. I send students down as referrals from up north, and I know they are in good hands with The Scuba Club. Thank you for all the good times!

My experience with the Scuba Club was fantastic. I’ve only dived with them a couple times but was still given a thorough briefing by MJ. I was impressed at how many dive masters were in the water, and was given a lot of attention. I cant wait to go back!

I had a very bad experience with them on May 30th, 2020. There was essentially no dive briefing describing the site, the procedures for getting on and off the boat, getting picked up by the boat, safety, etc. They didn't even ask people if they had a safety surface marker, which in the area we were diving, was an absolute necessity. After the dive, I was on the surface for probably 10-15 minutes, wondering if the boat saw me and was going to pick me up.
Fortunately, I am a very experienced diver and had a marker. However, the staff leading the dive didn't seem very organized/concerned at keeping

I really enjoyed my diving experience at the Scuba Club West Palm. JD was the best guide and it was an amazing experience. I felt comfortable, safe, and welcome. I did not just get a diving experience. I made a lot of new scuba friends during the trip
I would recommend the Scuba Club to anyone that is looking for a great dive experience in the West Palm area.

I am a certified diver and was vacationing in Palm Beach with my wife and 3 kids who don't dive. I stopped in The Scuba Club and spoke to Chip about doing some sort of class to introduce the rest of my family to Scuba. Chip referred me to Ken Ward. I spoke to Ken that evening and we made arrangements to do a class at the pool where we were staying two days later. Ken was communicative, on-time and was very helpful with my 3 mid-teenagers (and my niece and wife). He gave them a basic primer on Scuba and everyone went diving in the pool. The kids loved the experience so much that they want

We recently dove with Kenny and it was one of the best dives we have ever been on. He knew just where to take us and we felt comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend The Scuba Club for experienced divers or beginners!

I have been diving with them for several years, and became a member! After the original owner sold it to her GM, he brought back and a little more than before. Buying any new business is tough for a bit, but those in the business for over 35 years deserve much credit. The boat shows it wear, but still a solid boat for up to 16 divers! Ice cold water and fresh fruit on 2 tank dives. Pay the store on Northlake Blvd. for your Scuba needs!

$200 for 2 people to do a one tank dive with rental gear. You have to haul, hookup, and clean everything yourself. The "safety briefing" is just that, brief.

I haven't been diving in awhile so I definitely needed a little assistance, but with so many people on the boat (30-40) it was hard to get the attention of the staff and space was very tight.

When we did get ahold of the staff, Chip was very helpful and accommodating.

If you're a regular and you have your own equipment and basically just need a boat to take you out, this is the place for you. If you want an experience

I was certified here with these guys a few years back and absolutely loved the course. Wayne is awesome, super friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. Whenever I am back home I will schedule a dive here and time after time it is enjoyable. These guys truly know the best spots around the area and will make sure you have a good time. I highly recommend coming here if you're looking to get any certs or looking to do a dive.

My son (12 year old) and I completed our AOW cert at the Scuba Club. I was apprehensive at first since I am not familiar with West Palm Beach. I thought it would be a fun way to get some dives in and advance our training during his spring break. I called around to several dive shops in the area and none were to interested in the training which concerned me. I spoke to Sam at the Scuba Club and she was more than willing to accommodate our training. My son completed his Nitrox and we both did AOW. The dive sites were great. We saw lots of wildlife such as turtles, sharks, goliath grouper, and the

I love this place. They are so professional. They have lots of local divers. They aren't just doing cert dives and sales. I love the schedule too which lets me get up just a tiny bit later in the morning. and I can easily decide if I want to do an afternoon dive too.

I did do my Rescue course here and it was a great time. I was thoroughly exhausted at the end of each day but it was also great.

Five years ago our family, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, did the PADI course and did a few dives with it. We loved how knowledgeable the staff is with any issues we came up with. My daughter and I have ear issues and went to see a local doctor to be sure we were okay. But the staff helped us to become comfortable, go through the course, and then on the dives helped us to swim horizontal until our ears cleared enough to go down. We have been on dives after in the Caymans and it is all because of the care they gave us in the learning phase of the PADI experience. There are so many great places to go

I got my open water here 3 years ago. I think I was a real pain in the #@%^&..... but my instructor Wayne put up with all my stupid questions and it was probably the most fun I've had learning anything before!
Since then I have probably 100 dives with them. I have been to others in the area and they are all safe and professional, but the Scuba club gives you a sense of community. There is always 3 dive guides in the water...most with worldwide experience and keep track of every diver. They make sure all the air divers are together and making their way up at 30min and the Nitrox divers are guided

I've been diving for 20 years and this was the worst run dive boat I have ever been on. There was no safety talk about the boat. We asked several times before we paid where the boat was headed for the dive with an answer of " I don't know yet"
We asked the dive master before the boat left the dock and we were told the afternoon dive goes to the reef. There were 9 new certified divers aboard that it was the 5, 6, or 7 dive since they were certified as an OW1 diver so we assumed the reef would be in the 60ft range. We were finally told we were diving an 80ft reef while we were

I booked a dive for myself, my husband and my friend with Scuba Club. This was my very first dive after being OW certified and despite the 30 ft visibility, it was an awesome experience from the moment we walked in the door and Sam assisted us with the necessary paperwork. She was friendly, joked around with us, and made us feel very welcome. The equipment we rented was all top of the line ScubaPro or Subgear, which is what I'd learned to dive with, so that put me at ease. I was very upfront with the crew and let them know that this was my first dive without my instructor and that I'd

I just dove with these guys for my 8th dive, all previous 7 were done back in March. I couldn't be more satisfied. They went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable, were extremely friendly and nice. Very experienced, knowledgable people. I'll definitely be diving with them again next time I visit my parents in Palm Beach. Reasonably priced, too, for the area.

THE worst experience I've had in over 20+ years diving. As I get older, it's getting harder for me to clear as I descend, so I always make a point of mentioning it to the divemaster. I did this time, and he said "no problem, I'll make sure we don't lose you." Like it was some kinda joke. When the boat went out I've never seen fewer staff per diver for any other shop I've ever been with, anywhere in the world. So of course we submerge and everybody...including the divemaster and the assistant divemaster disappear...I keep descending...following bubbles

For The Palm Beach Area, Diving does not get any better. Staff is amazing and take your safety seriously. It would be even better if divers were made to buddy up with each other as is industry standard. Spear fishing is not permitted, but lobster hunting is welcomed during season for the licensed. This is a crew that loves to dive and it shows. If your visiting the area, you can't do any better - and the boat is on property as is all equipment. How fabulous is that?

I had an enjoyable dive up until a fellow customer began lobster hunting. There was no forewarning, and when I wrote in to express my disappointment, The Scuba Club refused to take any responsibility whatsoever. I was told to a) plan my travels during non-hunting times or b) charter a private boat. It was hugely offensive. Regardless of one's individual views on hunting during SCUBA dives, it's important to find a place where you trust their customer service - this is not it.

Wayne and the guys at The Scuba Club are great, very knowledgeable, and always willing to offer a helping hand.

I have not ever gone out on their dive boat, but can vouch for the facility, service center, and pricing on new/used equipment.

I have and plan on making Scuba Club my home for my SCUBA needs.

The only problem that I have ever had with anything from these guys, is the fact that the the VIP stickers have a hard time staying on for an entire year.
