To schedule your Liveaboard Dive Trip, you can book via email, or book directly through our online calendar below. Whichever way, we look forward to hearing from you! All underwater pictures and video, drone video shots as well as edited images captured during your trip! All charters require a minimum of 6 participants.
Tiger Beach has been continuously rated as one of the greatest shark diving locations, not only in the Bahamas, but in the world! Experience the thrill of up-close, cage-free, encounters with some of the most iconic large shark species - tiger sharks, great hammerheads, oceanic white-tip sharks, lemon sharks, and more!
On these expeditions, our primary goal is to interact with great hammerhead sharks and tiger sharks. These expeditions allow divers to experience the world famous "Tiger Beach" as well as dive sites further south, near the island of Bimini. While tiger sharks can be seen year-round, great hammerheads can be seen seasonally in the Bahamas.
This weekend expedition will take you to the heart of the world famous 'Tiger Beach'. This spectacular shark diving location is unlike any other in the world and guarantees one of the most unique underwater experiences in a diver's life! The shallow sand flat, located north of the West End of Grand Bahama Island, is the most reliable, consistent and, arguably, photographically pleasing spot to photograph these striped beauties on Earth.
We've spent decades showing others the beautiful underwater world across Florida and the Bahamas. Using these years of experience, we've created this expedition to highlight our favorite marine life encounters at both locations! In the Bahamas, we will be targeting the sharks of Tiger Beach, spend time diving the spectacular Sugar Wreck, and snorkeling with some of the friendliest dolphins in the world.

I'm giving this a 4 star only because the front desk communication was inaccurate or wrong on a number of occasions. It may have been that COVID resulted in trip cancellation from 2020 and everything was in a state of flux, I don't know. Overall, the trip was awesome. The arranged hotel's shuttle was obvious at the airport and seamless. The ferry's run every hour to the island. Go to the kiosk to buy round-trip tickets when the shuttle drops you off and make sure you keep the return tickets in a safe location - you'll need them for the return. Once on the island, find a taxi past the main entrance

I did the 2 Day/3 Night to Tiger Beach in October, it was one of the most amazing things I've ever done. Jim and his staff are friendly, accommodating and obviously love sharks. Being close enough to a 14 foot Tiger to make eye contact and know they are looking back at you just as intently, is indescribable. I can't wait to do it again and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to get up close and personal with sharks!

Did a short 3 night 2 day Tiger Beach trip for Lemon and Tiger sharks. Saw and photographed to our heart's content. Absolutely first rate experienced and safe crew. Many thanks to Colin, Corey, Jeff, Jason, Ryan and Jim. If you're looking for a first rate experience and encounter vs a luxury trip, don't hesitate to book through them. They're fantastic!

Was aboard the Shear Water for the Tiger and Great Hammerhead Shark expedition in mid-February 2016. Fantastic trip filled with incredible sharks (Tigers, Hammers, Lemon, Reef, Bull, and Nurse) ! The crew was awesome - helpful, informative, and patient - thanks to Mike, Gerard, George, and Carolyn !
I couldn't recommend this trip more highly... book it, it will be the trip of a lifetime for any shark enthusiast!

This was one of the most enjoyable and pleasurable dive experiences I've had in a long time. The staff was extremely gracious and knowledgeable and assured me that my group and I would have a great time. That was an understatement! When it came to choosing a dive center we wanted to find one that would provide some major adventure and safety (had some not-so-safe dive experiences with a few other companies in the past). I started my diving with Jim Abernethy's instructors. I couldn't be more satisfied with all the incredible adventures put together for me with tiger sharks in the Bahamas to whale sharks in Mexico a as well as wrecks and reefs off Florida! The entire staff and crew are there to make it an awesome experience!! I send all my family and friends and they are always happy!! It's always such a great experience!
