Dr. John K. Lee is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. He received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2004. He is a recipient of the Navy Health Professions Scholarship Program. He has served on two mission trips providing dental care to families in Jamaica.

Dr Lee is great! Very happy with my Invisalign journey with him! Amanda always does my cleanings and she’s so nice and does an amazing job! The staff is so friendly!! Very accommodating and so nice! I have been going to Lyndhurst Family Dental for at least 6 years. The entire staff are always so friendly and professional. The hygienist always walks you through step by step and Dr. Lee is always so personable. I just got new insurance and would have paid my old insurance myself just to keep seeing them! They are the best!

I was very happy that the office fit me in for an emergency procedure. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I’m terrified of the numbing part but I didn’t even feel the needle go in! Dr. Kim explained everything she was going to do before she started. Dr. Kim and her assistant kept me informed throughout the whole procedure! Today, makes day 4 of healing. So far so good. I was very pleased with the services that I was provided and I would recommend this Periodontist to my family and friends. Thank you Dr. Kim.

I visited Lyndhurst Family Dental because I was looking to have 2 implants done. I had my evaluation which included a couple of ex-rays that I was told would be no charge.
Once Dr. Lee read my medical history, he refused to do the implants for me. He said that they would look terrible and I would be unsatisfied with the results. I wanted to proceed, but he WOULD NOT do the implants for me.
I have dealt with this type of discrimination before and its extremely uncomfortable, especially when I could tell that he had no basis for what he was saying. I found a wonderful dentist who ultimately

Beware !!! Go at your own risk !!
- First there is hour long wait and receptionist is rude (yes your guess was correct while talking for appointment )
- They will do unnecessary X-ray and will be sending bill for X-rays which they knew was not covered !! Beware (these xrays were not asked for when you came for general cleaning )
- Didnt even had courtesy to call and cancel appointment and you only get to know when you are there at office.!
- Don't fall for doctors persistent advice to have tooth extraction and cavity filling!! (And constant nagging that your earlier filling is coming off

Ive been here before and never had an issue, the girls have always been great and the service as well. Last month My husband took our son to get a yearly check up, and he had the pleasure of getting treated by Dr.Lee, well MR LEE must have been in a bad mood that day because once my son sat on that chair and he saw he had some work that needed to be done, he freaked out. The office staff in Lyndhurst Family Dental Associates is terrible. What they advertised as Financial Coordinator is a lie. I came to see the periondontist here, when I asked if the periondontist is under my insurance network, they confirmed with me yes. After several treatments, it turned out that their periondontist is not under my network. They sent me a bill, asked me to pay, and said they already gave me a discounted price. Why do I have to pay for their fault. If i went to the periodontist under my network, I would not have to pay anything. Be careful before deciding going to this dental

New to Lyndhurst. Was in need of a dentist. Got a great cleaning that was done with a water pick, which was really nice.
X-rays showed two small cavities. Had them done today and had a great experience. No pain. No issues. Dr. Lee kept me in the loop as he was working. Always checking if I was ok.
The assistant was friendly and professional.
The admins were also great - friendly and professional. Accommodated my needs by calling me in as someone cancelled.
Overall, A+ experience. Will recommend my wife to them when need arises.

Rude obnoxious and incompetent staff. Didn't think it was possible to have a bad teeth-cleaning but they managed it. Even though I was already a patient when I got new insurance they would not keep me on Because - even though they take my new insurance - they would accept any new patients on the plan. Staff needs sensitivity training especially the impressed with herself hygenist.

I want EVERYONE to know how great Dr. Lee & his team is. I have a MAJOR fear of dentist and years of neglect has caused decay, broken teeth and missing teeth. First of all - YOU WILL NEVER FEEL the shots when Dr. Lee gives them to you. He takes the time to let you know what he is doing - he developed a complete and comprehensive dental plan for me. This review is only of the receptionist staff, not of Dr. Lee or his assistants. I'm sure the doctor is fantastic but getting an appointment to see the him is impossible. Called 3 times, first time I was rudely hung up on mid-sentence, second time they claimed they were going to process my insurance and would call me back to schedule an appointment, I never received a call. Third time I called to make the appointment, again, claimed they needed to process my card and again, never called me back. This has never happened to me with any other dental office before! I like Dr. Lee and his professionalism but I disagree with other reviews about the receptionist staff. They are not a accommodating at all. The appointment calendar is ridiculous and they claim they never have anything available later in the month or next month. You'll have to schedule something 2 or 3 months later. They ask people to come early to fill out documents. I don't understand why they can't email or mail the paperwork. This saves so much time. Also, there's also an hour to two hours wait before you get to see the doctor.

Today was my first time here. I found Lyndhurst Family Dental Associates from my insurance doctor finder website. Location is right near Michael's Salumeria (if that helps)! They are on the second floor in a building with other medical offices. The front desk workers are very friendly and easy going. They make checking in joyful. There's also a Keurig in the check in area with great coffee choices! So, inside the dental area, everything is super clean and looks brand new! Dr. John Lee and staff are wonderful. They are very accommodating and very pleasant to deal with. You are explained everything in advance and never surprised. Dr. Lee always makes sure you are comfortable and explains everything that is going on. I like that so i am aware of how much we have left. He is honest, kind and very gentle. Felt very trusting my first time meeting him. I have been back twice since my first cleaning and will return int he future as well.
