Dr. Simon Gamer earned his D.D.S. degree at Northwestern University, where he also taught as a full-time instructor in operative dentistry and oral diagnosis. After moving back home to Los Angeles, he opened his practice and taught full time at USC, in the Department of Oral Diagnosis, and completed a board-eligible residency in prosthodontics.

Dr Solnit spent a lot of time with me during the consultation to discuss his findings and address questions I may have. He wrote a detailed consultation report afterwards to summarize the findings. It's obvious that he is an expert at what he does. The office is clean and classy, front desk were very sweet and easy to schedule with, dental assistant was great and competent. Everyone was good at their jobs and made me feel like I was a valued patient even it it was my first time to come there for a consult. I've been to other offices where they rush you in and out and it felt crowded.

Look no further for your dental needs. I have been a patient of Dr. Solnit's for well over a decade; I have a challenging bite which his excellent work has corrected along with giving me a new, great smile. Dr. Solnit is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. He is honest, he has told me to hold off on various procedures when he has felt that are not necessary.
Dr. Solnit's staff is friendly and professional, making it easy to set and change appointments.

I don't normally do reviews but saw something on Yelp that needs a response. Yes, he is expensive. But he is worth every penny. If you care about your oral health, if you want a doctor totally committed to his craft and providing the best possible outcomes, go to Dr. Solnit. If other dentists can't figure out your dental issue, go to Dr. Solnit. If you want a dentist who is a really good human being, go to Dr. Solnit. I've been his patient since the early 1990s and would not consider going elsewhere. He is a perfectionist and is trustworthy.

My partner and I have been patients of Dr Solnit over 4 years. We met via a cycling accident which cost my partner her 2 front teeth. From the get go Dr Solnit and his staff were sympathetic adjusted to our schedules and even showed up on a Saturday afternoon when a mini emergency occurred.

After getting into a bike accident my first year of college and knocking out/breaking my front four teeth, Dr. Solnit was highly recommended to me to fix all the damage done to my teeth. I went to Dr. Solnit needing major bridge-work after a disastrous experience with another dentist. The condition of my mouth/teeth/gums posed many complex challenges and required surgery. Dr. Gary Solnit is one of the, if not THE, best dentist in Beverly Hills and dare I say all of California. I've been a patient of his for going on three years and can't ever see myself going anywhere else. His professionalism, care for his patients and dedication to his work set him apart from all others. He really takes great pride in what he does. I've had two teeth where the fillings, done by a different dentist, have begun to leak. Dr. Solnit went in, eradicated the decayed portion and covered it all up so nice and neat it honest to God looked like there had never been an issue

I have been a patient of Dr. Solnit for the last 20 years and I won't see any other dentist - period. His work is flawless, his demeanor kind. I have needed a certain amount of reconstructive dentistry due to bad dental care received as a child. He did my first crown 20 years ago - and to this day, it has never, chipped, loosened, fallen out. It's still there, holding up to lots of mastication! ! Others since are just as good - and the ones in the front of my mouth don't have that "I have a crown" look. He is an artist.
