Winnie Chan Wang is a trauma-informed licensed acupuncturist, Reiki practitioner, shadow worker and shamanic healer. Because trauma is the root cause of many physical and emotional illnesses, Winnie focuses on releasing trapped emotions in organs and meridians (energy pathways). Her sessions begin with compassionate inquiry, where she guides her clients into a deep self-exploration.
A deeply healing experience combining scientific and spiritual healing, to release the pain and discover your light. Your entire body from head to toe, skin to bone, will radiate love and light, starting from the heart. Our reiki and shamanic healing work is grounded in physical medicine, the study of human anatomy, and actual clinical experience.
Once you find the Awareness Center for Yoga, Meditation and Healing, the healing space is behind the yoga studio. The parking spots immediately outside the healing space is reserved for people who have difficulty walking. If that applies to you, please do park there. Otherwise, there is plenty of free parking on Mataro Street and N Daisy Avenue (see yellow marks on the map).

Do you believe in magic? Winnie's practice is just magic. I visited Winnie earlier last week, and I was so speechless at the end of my session that it took me several days to form my thoughts to write this review. Winnie is a very active, engaged listener; she also articulates herself clearly, is very honest, and has a wonderful and lovely sense of humour. I walked in knowing my issues, that my heart was energetically blocked, and after walking out, it felt like I could finally breathe again in my fullest capacity. Winnie worked wonders on me today and that’s an understatement. She not only held space for my current healing that was needed, but she tapped into so much that has felt stuck for who knows how long. She intuitively went to the places in my body and transformed my relationship with myself and with the world. It was one of the best healings I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot. My experience here was incredible! Winnie is an Angel! After being swollen and in pain for over a month, I came to Mindful Healing Heart with the hope that she could help me release some of the pain. I felt so safe during the experience and after it was complete, I felt like I was floating. The next day, my swelling and pain was down by at least 50 percent and by the end of the week 90 percent. I'm so grateful to have found this amazing and kind healer and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this beautiful space.

I experienced a sudden onset of tremors/rumbling in both of my ears. And while not painful, I got them every 5-10 mins for two weeks, so it was irritating. I was starting to get concerned, and reached out to Winnie.

Winnie rocks. She is able to fluidly apply a wide range of techniques with a high level of mastery. She is capable of both producing results on the spot as well as empowering you to continue your growth on your own.

I received a Reiki treatment from Winnie today for my back pain and fertility. It was unlike anything I have ever experienced.
Her space is welcoming and calm, and she took time to explain to me what was happening.
She feels motherly and so kind. She talked about emotional release and breath a lot. Her hands were very warm.

Winnie is a gifted and intuitive healer. Her space is so serene and calming and has a wonderful healing energy. Winnie has an uncanny ability to tune into what you need and she offers her skills and her intuition with much love, wisdom, and humor. I can't recommend her highly enough! I have met a handful of healers and practitioners throughout my adult life and have used their services for various reasons related to my emotional and physical health. Winnie is by far the most gifted healer that I have ever gone to. She offers traditional acupuncture but her skill set is so much bigger than that

From the moment I walk through the door, I have fallen in love with the healing space. This place has really good energy, from the music, to the plants, and of course, the healing calligraphies.
