1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. 3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Hayden Road Animal Hospital understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
As a new client of our Hayden Road Animal Hospital in Scottsdale, you can expect our full attention to your pets' needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we'll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet's medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.
My German Shepherds were adopted from the pound. However, they receive the same world class medical care as the finest police service dogs. I would give HRAH 10 stars if I could. Dr. Wayne Svoboda is one of the best I have found when it comes to reptile vets (and vets in general I am sure). I had previously seen him at another hospital and wanted to take my leopard gecko to him again, so I found Hayden Road Animal Hospital.
We are happy to book an appointment for you. This is not an automatic process. Once we receive your request, we will contact you to confirm a date and time that is as close to your request as possible. If your appointment has not been confirmed within 24 hours, please feel free to contact the practice by phone to confirm.
We monitor our patients closely to keep them as safe as possible during procedures that require general anesthesia. A veterinary technician will continually assess your pet's heart and respiratory rate, . For some procedures, your pet will need to be administered general anesthesia so that he or she will be unconscious and not feel pain.

We brought our pup in for a new patient wellness exam and saw Dr Ryan. Our pup has an extensive background and Dr Ryan gave us all the time we needed to ask questions or fully understand what he was saying while being very compassionate about the situation. We never felt rushed and felt truly understood in our situation. Definitely recommend!

Dr. English and Alexus were fantastic. I have never had a bad experience here. Today we had to put down our semi feral senior cat after 15 years. It was painless for all of us. The Dr. told us what meds he was using and how they would effect the old boy. Everything was handled beautifully and he crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge the best way we could have hoped for. Thank you all for taking such good care of all of us ❣️.

I am taking my mom to the groomers and they wouldn't take my mom's little dog because his rabies shots weren't up to date and so we called Hayden road animal hospital and they were able to get it in that evening few hours later they fit Us in for a full examination and shots and very next day we were able to go and get the little dog groomed and mom was happy when Mom's happy everybody's happy

The Dr's and staff are kind, and caring, and very educated, and treat your pet, like its theirs. They have the patience, of Job! Every one of my dogs went there. To be exact, my 3 yorkies. Wonderful experience with Dr. Ryan Svoboda and our 8YR old Lab mix Jax.He had received some stitches at a 24 hour vet care that we’re coming loose. We were going to do a home remedy and while my husband was in Petsmart...one of the other vets started asking him questions and urged us to bring Jax in. We did and are so happy we did! Great care not only for Jax but for us parents as well ❣️💗
