Services
Wellness massage is defined as a personal service initiated by a patient to provide relaxation, increase body awareness and to create balance with the objectives of promoting health and wellness. This type of treatment is utilized to counteract the pressures of daily life that tend to wear down both the body and mind.
We offer 60 and 90 minute sessions. Most people start with an hour massage. That's enough time to cover the entire body. With 90 minutes there is plenty of time to have a full body massage, with extra time to focus on problem areas. We will then take you to your private treatment room and explain how the service will begin.
Depending on your medical insurance provider, you might be eligible for partial service reimbursements. All you need to do is call the customer service number on your medical ID card to verify your massage benefits. From there, you can find out how much your insurance provider will cover on behalf of your massage.
Grow the 360 is a program where customers can purchase gift certificates in varying amounts to use at participating businesses in the area. Certificates are purchased through the Greater Vancouver website and buyers can print the certificate or email it to the recipient they choose. Chuck's Produce & Street Market provides a unique grocery shopping adventure.

Self Balance massages have been a significant quality of life enhancing experience for me. I had a wonderful massage with hot stones on May 31, 2018. Mei was my therapist, and she was GREAT! She was very kind and checked to make sure the pressure was just right, and that the stones were not too hot. (They were on the nuclear side, actually, so I appreciated that she was careful!) The ambiance was peaceful, though I could hear some traffic from time to time. It didn't take away from the overall experience, and I will definitely return! One thing - my GPS had a hard time finding it so a note that the location is directly behind the Safeway on Hazel Dell Avenue. Highly recommended!

I had an all-around amazing experience at Self Balance Massage. My massage with Andrew was very relaxing and also educational. Andrew took extra time to show me stretches and self-massages to practice at home to help alleviate back and neck pain as it flares up.
While this was my first visit, it's safe to say I will soon be a "regular"! The convenient & welcoming location in Hazel Dell, affordable massage rates, and the friendly & knowledgeable team really impressed me.
