Services
Because of your continued generosity, we have been able to do some incredible things in Pawtucket and grow at an exponential rate. We want you to be a part of our continued success in bringing affordable, professional quality theatrical programming to the Pawtucket and greater Rhode Island Communities.
Sound must be loud and clear. Please be sure that the mic is directed toward the actor. Smaller rooms with furniture, rugs, etc will reduce echo and improve the quality of your sound. Please tape auditions in front of a bare wall or backdrop that is a solid, preferably muted color. Avoid having anything behind you that will distract the viewer's eye such as furniture, pictures, windows, etc.
Conveniently located off of Exit 29 (Broadway) on I-95, Burbage Theatre Co is set in the heart of downtown Pawtucket surrounded by amazing local businesses, restaurants, and iconic New England scenery. Our new location at 59 Blackstone Avenue puts us in the company of Pawtucket institutions like Motif Magazine, Rhode Island Spirits, and Mad Dog Cafe.

We just saw Aaron Blanks Christmas and I dont even have words for how incredible that was. That laughter was much needed and we will be back for more!

Well organized, everyone was required to present proof of vaccination and to wear a mask during the play. We felt comfortable being in a closed venue. Support Burbage Theater Company!

I feel in love with the Burbage upon seeing Gatsby and Jeff Church in the title role. The assemblage of talent at the Burbage is one of Rhode Island's gems. Every play I've seen since has been top notch and deserving of a drive all the way from South County. Live theater is one of the things I miss most while sheltering in place. May we all be out soon, working and enjoying life. Stay safe.

I enjoyed the production of "King Edward ll". Although traditionally a male cast, this dominate female cast preformed their roles wonderfully. I'm excited to see the productions next season.

Burbage isn’t afraid of producing thought provoking work that will stretch its audiences’ perceptions of the world. We need more risk takers in theatre, and Burbage is in a unique position to achieve that in Rhode Island. Definitely go check out a show here.

I'm so happy that the Burbage is settled in their new home. I've seen a few productions and they're riveting! I just received a Season's Pass for 2 the other day and I couldn't be more thrilled!

Shakespeare in Love was a great performance and cast of characters. Very engaging and entertaining! Nice theatre circular seating, there's not a bad seat in the house. Look forward to seeing more plays!
