Growing up in Sitka our family was busy operating boat tours for Alaska's travelers and building vessels in our Jamestown Bay shipyard. During our off hours we were out exploring the Southeast waters. This spirit of discovery has stayed with us through the decades and remains as much a part of us today as it did in our childhood.
Our adventures have brought us to countless bays, coves, and inlets in this remarkable region. We enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, kayaking, and sometimes, just relaxing next to a beachside fire. Equally as fascinating as the wildlife and landscapes are the people we've met along the way. From loggers to fishermen, Alaska's personalities are diverse but tied by a common thread- a deep love of the place we call home.

I took 11 of my family including six grandchildren/spouses-all in their early thirties on the Kruzof Explorer on the trip that included photographing bears. It was the perfect trip. Wonderful weather, great crew, good food, knowledgeable naturalist. Being in their early thirties meant the young ones were up for polar plunging, fishing, kayaking and every other event. My daughter and son got great pics. I made a picture book as I often do. We've been on many great family adventures. This was one of the best.

We had an amazing Last Frontier Adventure with Alaskan Dream Cruises from June 11-18, 2021. There were 8 of us, and we were on the Admiralty Dream with 37 other guests. Getting back into the swing of things after missing last season due to Covid-19 was no easy task, but the captain and his entire crew were amazing. We saw so much wildlife: bald eagles, brown bear, moose with calf, mountain goat with kid, humpbacks, orcas and dolphins, Steller sea lions, sea otters, harbor seals and their newborn pups, and finally a black bear on our way to the airport in Juneau! Just finished a 9 day trip on Kruzoff Explorer. We made a reservation for the Baranof Dream, but the company bumped us up to the Kruzoff Explorer based on a low reservation level due to Covid. Captain Bruce and his crew are excellent, and the trip was phenomenal. Saw an incredible amount of wildlife and riding the Zodiac at Tracy Arm Fjord was spectacular. We were not charged the extra it would have cost to be on the Kruzoff; but if you can afford it, a 1 staff to 2 guest ratio is a once in a lifetime type of experience. Highly recommend the small boat experience of Alaskan Dream Cruises.

I went on one of their cruises 2-1/2 years ago and had the best week of my life. All I have done since then is dream about going back to Alaska and going on another of their trips. Really a wonderful experience! The entire crew and the accommodations were great. The itineraries were well thought out and we saw and did more than I had expected.

We just got off the Admiralty Dream after an incredible trip! The captain, Gordon, and the entire crew were friendly, incredibly helpful and just a blast to be around! We saw orcas, humpbacks, eagles, sea lions, puffins, bears and many other animals. The crew went out of their way to be accommodating and making our trip as wonderful as could be! We saw the northern lights! We ate the most delicious meals (thanks Tara)! We had excursions and adventures! Our rooms were fantastic! I would encourage EVERYONE to take a trip with ADC!

We were on the June 12th 2018 11 day cruise on the Alaskan dream. We had a very good time the entire crew and captain Eric were very attentive. The ship holds 40 people plus 17 crew. Everyone on the cruise was friendly we saw a lot of wildlife the captain would stop for us to take pictures. All in all we would recommend this to everyone.
