I highly recommend Gus Zoida at Benefit Packages (benefitpackages.com) who helped me navigate the Covered California system and sign up for affordable health care. I tried to sign up for Covered California on 6/29 (the day before free federal COBRA coverage ended). While I intended to get a Silver plan, the Covered California site incorrectly calculated my monthly income and referred me to Medi-Cal which I did not want. Navigating yourself to get healthcare can be scary. The Covered California website could look simple but if you click one wrong thing your application could not go through and you won't even know what you clicked wrong. I requested for a representative to give me a call through Covered California instead of staying on hold. About 15 minutes later Gus gave me a call.
