Services
Bikini line is a basic tidy, we wax the sides (called your panty line) and across the top. If you're wearing a bikini, this will prevent any hairs from "peeking out". Bikini (full) is the next step and allows you to take off as much or as little hair as you like off the front. If you want to leave a small "landing strip", triangle or nothing at all, it's up to you!
I was born in London, England and have over 20 years experience in the beauty industry. My training was at Steiner Beauty School in London where I studied massage, nails, skincare and hair removal. I graduated with a triple license in massage, manicurist and beauty therapy (full esthetician) and got a great position at The Berkeley Spa, one of London's top spas.
This occurs because hair is being removed at the root, which weakens the hair. Constant waxing over time can even cause it to stop growing all together. So when it's "that" time again, the hair regrowth will be finer and softer, not rough and coarse as with shaving. Often it is also lighter meaning you can go longer in between wax appointments.
This may be uncomfortable for those getting waxed for the first time, but resist that urge to shave! Hair must be at least 1/4 of an inch long in order to wax, longer for certain hair types. This is usually around 1 to 2 weeks before your appointment. Also, remember to breathe! It's natural to be nervous, but it's going to be over shortly and you're going to love the results.

Wendy is the absolute best! Not only is she the sweetest but she is the best waxer I have ever had. I have been waxing for quite some time and my only regret is that I didn’t find Wendy sooner. I have been coming to her for a few years now and I will never leave. She has the cutest little studio and is so quick and efficient and makes you feel right at home! Wendy was absolutely amazing! Found her on Yelp and I scheduled with her based on the reviews I saw. She did not disappoint. I have been going to a salon style location to get waxing services for years and I've had such bad experiences. They always have a different person and they don't specialize in waxing. Needless to say I will be a long time customer here with Wendy. :)

I have been going to Wendy since 2016 and I would not go to anyone else! She makes you feel comfortable and loves building relationships with her clients. Every time I go, it’s like catching up with a friend. Not only that, but she is very meticulous and gentle when it comes to waxing. Wendy is a master of her craft. I found her on yelp and did the initial discounted Brazilian and I've been going to her for two years. Some of the wax I have experienced in the past for very painful. Wendy uses quality product and precision artistry to get you in and out with a great wax. I have recommended her to friends and will continue to do so.

I enjoyed my experience at The Wax Parlor. Wendy was professional and made me feel comfortable. I most liked about her little space that it was decked out with a TV and a diffuser. It's the simple things that matter. I've been waxed before so I knew what kind of discomfort to experience. With that being said, I knew to choose someone that was using a hard wax versus strips to remove unwanted hair because it's a lot less painful. I would recommend Wendy and I'm sure to return.

The wax parlor is in a suite with a salon. When you get inside your in a green lobby with several doors. You definitely can't open any doors unless someone opens the door for you or buzzes you in. On a big tv monitor there are the names of each person, so you have to find Wendy's name and dial the extension with a phone provided. There's a huge ottoman to sit and relax as you wait. I was definitely sitting there for less then five minutes before I was serviced which was great.
