Services
We provide quality railing repairs for even the most damaged railings. We first cut out the entire deteriorated post. We then use a diamond core drill (no hammering) to drill out the existing post base from the concrete. Once we have a clean hole we weld on a new 11 guage steel post embedding it 3 into the concrete.

Mickey’s Iron Works was recommended to our church, Greater Grace Community Church in Silver Spring, by a neighbor. As is normal for things you aren’t familiar with, I was surprised that the cost was a little more than I had planned for. I did get some other quotes. They were actually higher and the other difference was that no one came out personally like Mickey did. He took the time to explain it all and answered all of our questions. Excellent support from Mickey and his installation team!! We are out of their typical service area, but he agreed to perform the work and didn’t raise the cost just because of the distance. The workmanship was amazing and the installation team was very nice and they took their time to ensure the installation was performed correctly. Mickey was very responsive to inquiries and even let us know the team was delayed on the day of installation for an issue beyond their control. I would highly recommend!!

There's a reason these guys have 100 five star ratings. The craftsmanship is fantastic, they have a great eye for design off very little instruction, and they are happy to match what the customer already has without question.
But the real reason they have such a high rating is their customer service. I just had three rails installed, and when I had a question on the install Mickey could have just blown me off, relied on a contract, enjoyed my money and moved on. Instead, he himself came to my house to do an inspection, walked through each step of the install process and explained the situation

We combed the Internet looking for the perfect railing to complement the barn door we had just built. We wanted a statement piece, a work of art, to reflect the rustic modern feel of the decor. We found it at Mickey's Iron Works. And best of all, he was local and had many 5 star reviews. Mickey was very responsive, coming out to measure within a few days, presenting us with the design, and tweaking it to our specifications. Within 9 days he had finished the railing and installed it.
