We recently put an iron fence in our yard. Got four different quotes. Naty's was the lowest by a good bit. I also asked for a quote on a set of deck stairs and Naty went out of his way to measure them out, showing me how what I wanted was going to take up way more space than I thought. I appreciated the honesty!
Fast forward, the fence was ready before I'd completed the permitting process. Naty was patient and as soon as I had the permit, he was on site to do the install. One day for the posts and another for the fence and gate. It looks great -- exactly like the drawings and pictures

We moved into the only house on the block without an iron fence and gate. After talking to a couple of companies and reading the reviews, we hired Naty for the job. Naty was courteous, on time, reasonably priced, and did a great job. He installed an iron fence, a gate, and an old world railing on our stoop. The work was fantastic and completed in a timely manner. I would absolutely recommend Naty for ironwork... simply the best.

Easily the best experience we've had renovating our row house. Naty is a true craftsman and cares deeply about the quality of his work. He is not a saleman who talks a big game and then fails to deliver. His straight forwardness and honesty was greatly appreciated. Naty's prices are also very good. For $11k he demolished and removed our old (solid) brick stoop and fabricated a new metal stoop and fence to our design specifications. Hire him! You won't regret it.

On Thursday I spoke with Natty Iron and arranged an appointment for the following Monday. As requested, I followed up with a text confirming the appointment and providing my address. On Monday, Natty Iron does not show up or call. I called them and sent a text asking if they were coming but never heard from them. Natty Iron wasted my time!!!!

I had to quickly get a window security bar installed in my Capitol Hill condo due to recent security related issues. Iron work is not something that one needs often, but when needed quality of product is imperative.
Naty really came through for me when I had to get bars installed on my windows. He came out with little notice to measure and give a quote that was below what others had quoted me. He custom creates all products and backs it up. The install was pretty easy and he made sure he got it right for me before calling it a day.
Really happy with the quality of the work and honesty of Naty and his team.

Haile Gebreal, who is the owner of Naty Iron Works, is a pleasure to work with. Very nice, professional, knows what he is doing. We hired him to fix the fencing by our front door, and to put security bars on our basement windows, as well as a security gate & fence around an egress window. I had talked to other iron workers who could not come up with a good solution for the egress window, but Haile knew exactly how to make it all secure but still allow us to open the window. I was very happy with the work they did and definitely would hire them again. Very reasonable prices too.

Mr. Naty came out to repair my gates on my home. He did a great job - obviously knows what he is doing and worked very quickly too. His price was significantly better than the other two quotes I got. Mr. Naty is very professional and respectful and he came out during a snow storm and worked outside so that I would be safer in my home that I just purchased. Mr. Naty was able to provide a quote by email after seeing pictures by text which made the whole process so much faster. The quote was what I paid also. Apparently he also did my neighbor's iron work - theirs is much fancier than mine so

Naty did a fantastic job on our window bar and security gate installation. Estimate was free and cheaper than others. Fabrication was completed in about a week and the crews showed up when promised and quickly installed them without any issue. They are solid and well crafted. Will use him again for any other similar work.

I hired Naty in May 2015 to replace my rusty chain link fence in Shaw's historic district with a wrought iron fence. It's a large corner property, so it was a very long fence by city standards and it also had to meet with DCRA historic standards. I couldn't be more happy with the outcome.

We needed a replacement for an existing porch iron railing. After sending a rough sketch with photos and dimensions, a NATY reo scheduled an onsite appointment.
The rep showed up as scheduled, took detailed measurement. A proposal was sent via email for the work to be done. The price was right. 50% down payment was made.
The work was completed today, on time as promised. The resulting product is just slightly different than the original to conform to current building code. The final result was excellent, the price quite reasonable.
