Services
Shrink-wrapping is the ideal way to protect your boat from the snow, ice and varmints in the winter, as your regular boat cover is not made to handle it. Shrink-wrapping is framed, tented and vented to keep the weight of the snow and ice off your windshield and wrapped tight along the sides and around the outdrive/gearcase to help keep out any unwanted critters.
Whether it's your boat trailer, snowmobile trailer, utility trailer or enclosed trailer they all need maintenance. Let us help you stay road ready. We service all trailer brake systems - hydraulic and electric brakes (drum and disc brakes). From the actuators/couplers, brake lines, and bearings to the brake assemblies and the wheels/tires.
We offer convenient on-site storage in Eagan, MN in our secured & monitored lot. Our storage does differ slightly from others. Availability to the boat is only during business hours, no exceptions. With the option of an after-hours pick-up (summer only, see below). There is no appointment necessary to bring your boats in and get them out of your driveway!
Our turn-around time is quick. This does depend on the issue and the availability of parts etc, but we'll get you back on the trails as soon as we can. Maintenance intervals are based upon average riding conditions. Vehicles subjected to severe use, such as operation in wet or dusty areas, should be inspected and serviced more frequently.
We pride ourselves on our above & beyond excellent service. We work with all makes and models of snowmobiles and handle all repairs and modifications from basic tune-ups, carb service, studding and shock-rebuilding to high-end, super-fast performance builds. We can also take care of any insurance repairs from the initial claim to the completed product.

I took my Polaris Ranger in for a basic tune up, a winch replacement and some engine issues. The estimate for all three was over $3,000. I passed on everything except the tune up and didn’t bother to ask for the price. I got charged $250 for what ended up being an oil change. When I took the machine to Red Wing I got the engine work and wench done for $1,100. There is a shortage of Polaris repair shops in the metro and these guys know it.

I brought in my 2003, 16 foot, 4 stroke Mercury outboard fishing boat to Valley Motor Sports becuase it stopped working while running. They found there was water in the fuel. In good faith, I decided to have them drain the gas, replace the carborator and perform a tune up with some trailer fixes. The cost was $2500, and I brought it out and it stopped working again and needed to be towed to shore near Afton on the St. Croix with my 2 small children. I brought it back and Mark the owner found there was water in the gas again and convinced me it was becuase the fuel vent cover was damaged. They drained

Newer to the boating world. Always was on them as a kid but didn't know much about them. I now own my first boat and they have been nothing but professional and patient with me. They're willing to take the time to show you how things work if you're just unsure. They'll have my business for many years to come. I brought my boat in for a warning beep coming from my 115 Merc 4 stroke. They looked at it in couple of days and determined that it needed ECU. It was ordered right away. They kept me up-to-date throughout the order process and installed and tested the day it was received. When I got my boat back home I noticed that they had also fixed a couple of snaps on my boat top that I hadn't even mentioned to them.

This is the place I have taken all of my boats over the years for maintenance and service. I feel the service is always done with the highest quality and the turn around has always been pretty fast. I've been doing business with Valley for 4+ years now. Always treated me with respect and gave me peace of mind that my boat was being cared for. I've done basic winterizations, more in-depth winterizations, trailer service and even used their summer storage service for a couple years. I'll continue to do business here as long as I have a boat. Beats the mainstream dealers service and price hands down. If you're looking for a place, you've found them!
