Test your pillow at our store to determine what creates the best spinal alignment to ensure a good night's sleep. Our best-selling pillow is the side sleeper. Appropriate for back or side sleepers and, since you can remove some fill, it even works for stomach sleepers! Some of the other pillows are filled with natural rubber latex and ventilated memory foam.
With the perfect blend of beauty, durability and comfort, our bedding is made using no VOC's or carcinogenic chemicals. Years of searching led us to cotton so rare, a fiber so long and incredibly soft, we wove it into our exclusive whisper-weight sateen bedding. We carry one of the most stringent certifications for our raw materials such as GOTS and Oeko Tex.
Natural components in sleep products tend to be a lot more durable than blends and synthetics, so you'll enjoy a longer mattress lifespan without wear-related support issues. The MAXX sleep surface starts with ultra-high density plush foam in combination with select all-natural Talalay latex. Atop this base rests a soft-touch top layer of 4-way stretch polyester rayon blend with an underlayment of 100% Joma wool - the natural choice for thermoregulation and moisture control.
Our mission is to give back to animal rescue groups and to better our environment one recycled bottle at a time. This is simple done, by hand crafting premium all natural soy candles using artisanal techniques. Well Karen and Reno's THE SLEEP SHOP did it again ! I used to live in Reno and they provided the most incredible beds to keep me happy every night. Now living in Alabama I called Karen and asked for a solution for a 26ft RV. Trusted Karen to make the selection, sight unseen, the full bed she ordered for me arrived and did not disappoint. We got a California King memory foam mattress for less than half the price of the Temperpedic! It was made from natural foam in the USA, I always try to buy local and organic. Karen was very nice and patient while I tried out the mattressess and had a lot of good information. I ordered the Dream Catcher and it came in about a week and the delivery was free! It was a little firmer than the one in the store but they have a good 60 day policy for exchanges. Very happy with this store! It's the best place to get a good mattress in Reno.

My first visit was because The Sleep Shop was part of Scavenger Hunt. We spent a few minutes talking with the owner. She is very knowledgable and personable. The mattresses she offers are organic and environmentally safe as well as so comfortable.
I had never thought before about what products make up a typical mattresses. Wow, what an eye opener. I also looked into it a bit myself as was surprised of the chemicals etc. that are included.
The sleep Shop is a great alternative with affordable pricing. An absolute must to put on your list if you are in need of a mattress.

Poor and rude customer service by the owner, Karen. The mattress delivered to our house felt nothing like the mattress we tried in the store. The store employee, Bill, was very sympathetic and tried to troubleshoot for us. However Karen interceded and angrily informed us that they do not offer a satisfaction guarantee and the best she could do was facilitate an exchange with the mattress manufacture at our own expense. We were shocked by her behavior since she had been so nice when we purchased the mattress. We ultimately resolved the issue and enjoy our mattress but the experience was unpleasant

This is a wonderful store to shop at if you are looking for a good quality mattress. If comfort is important to you, and you want an eco-friendly mattress you feel good about sleeping on, this is the place to go to. The owners have a wealth of information about the products they carry and went out of their way to provide me a level of customer service not found elsewhere. The sleep shop and Karen, the owner, are simply incredible. a great variety of products and very knowledgeable staff. We came in town late just before closing and had had trouble getting a mattress. Understanding the situation, with our two children in tow, Karen got us a great mattress, at a great price, and THEN loaded the new mattress in her own truck and delivered it to our new house which got her home well after her closing time. You won't get that kind of service or understanding at the big box store. These guys are the real deal.
