When you're dealing with a little "rain" in your life, you may be able to cope with it on your own or with the help of friends and family. Wouldn't it be nice if life only gave you challenges you could handle, if it gave you any challenges at all? But life doesn't always work that way. When you're facing one or more challenges you don't know how to cope with, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and stuck - maybe even hopeless.

Some storms are emotional, when you get battered by moods like depression, hopelessness, anxiety or anger. At such times your mind gets flooded with upsetting thoughts. As if that's not enough, there are also the challenges of everyday life, incluing job stress, financial struggles, and health concerns - just to name a few.
Services
These experiences influenced me when I started my practice in 2002. Since then, many clients have told me about their frustrations with traditional forms of treatment. Some people don't want to be diagnosed or "labeled" with a mental disorder. In some cases, clients don't have a diagnosis for their struggles, they just know they're unhappy.
If you are willing to work hard, we can work together to get you on the road to recovery. You'll also develop the tools to handle future relapses, and learn to become your own therapist. Intensive therapy consists of longer sessions (two to six hours) that take place over two to 12 days. There is also therapy homework between sessions.
The other factor is your commitment to practicing the skills that you will learn in our sessions. If you're willing to do both of these things, your success in counseling is almost inevitable. Asking this question is similar to asking a personal trainer if he or she can get you in shape. If you're willing to exercise consistently, then getting in shape is just a matter of time.
You may also have physical symptoms such as fatigue. Perhaps you're not eating or sleeping well. Maybe you've even gone to your physician, only to have your medical tests come back negative. When left unchecked, depression can hang over you like a cloud and fill you with pessimism, despair and hopelessness.
If you feel more tense, nervous, or worried than usual right now, you're not alone. Even if you haven't been personally affected by the virus, you may be struggling to stay confident and productive when there is so much uncertainty surrounding the current crisis and the path to recovery. So many of us need a break from the stress and anxiety of the past few months.

Dr. Gosse has helped me utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to confront and overcome anxiety-related issues for over 18 months. He is professional, exceptionally competent, and truly the best psychologist I could ever have hoped for. I have zero hesitation in recommending Dr. Gosse.

Recently, I have been going through a multitude of problems associated with mass stress attacking me at the same time (family deaths, death of my 21 year old dog, loss of employment etc.). I was coping with these issues dangerously by not taking care of myself and not working through these unprecedented circumstances smartly and with little concern for myself. Essentially, everyone's problems took first place and I myself began to languish. I knew it was time to talk with someone who could help me understand my personal and broken approach to these circumstances and to find better tools in the

I tried to set up an assessment with Dr. Gosse and had trouble getting through to him the many times I called. He would never answer, but only return calls after I left a voicemail. We got disconnected in the middle of an assessment and as soon as I tried to call him back he would not answer me. He finally reached out again two days later (when he said he would call me the next day) and I missed the call by 30 seconds.. tried to call him back.. and again NO ANSWER. He literally plays phone tag all week. Then he eventually just stopped answering my calls and stopped trying to reach back out to me

I've been seeing Dr. Gosse on and off for the past six years. For both family and professional issues. Not only did he teach some coping techniques he also helped me understand how my own behavior and communications style was contributing to my stress, and how to make positive changes. Therapy will work though it's not a short term fix. It's long term behavior modification and once I understood this, life became so much easier.

In the beginning of his sessions and end he hands you an evaluation of how you are before the session begins and afterwards. I always wanted to believe the best in people but after awhile I couldn't agree with his practices (especially his fake well to do intentions anymore), so I ended up walking out of his office. My husband and I went to his office for marriage counseling. I feel he doesn't have the best intentions and did not get the heart of the matter after being there for almost a month. It seems like he was just dragging us on and on for $300 a session. That also it wasn't nice of me to
