Family owned, Wicklein's Native Plants has been in business for 65 years. Walt Wicklein Sr. opened the business in 1954 as a retail water garden nursery. As a third generation company we specialize in growing native wetland and upland grasses and perennials. We supply high quality plant material for many types of restoration projects including stormwater ponds, stream and shoreline mitigation, erosion control, rain gardens, and floating islands.

Wicklein's Native Plants is a wholesale grower of native upland, aquatic and wetland restoration plants. We currently have over 35,000 sq. Terms: Payment terms are COD unless prior credit has been established. A finance charge of 2% (24%annually) will be added to all past due accounts. A $25 fee will be charged for all returned checks.

Stopped in this morning to check this place out place looked amazing but customer service wasn't impressive. Asked employee prepping an order about looking around his response was "One of us has to take you around" I said ok can I ask about that? "My boss is on the phone and it could be a couple mins" Sure I can wait Just stared at me "You know we are a Wholesaler right" So I left My issue with this is A. I was from out of state and wanted to visit before I ordered plants via a website that makes no specifications about making an appointment. Business hours are posted so the assumption is that

Wicklein's has quality aquatic plants for your pond or water garden. They no longer have retail walk-in sales, but you can order and pay online and have your order delivered or call and ask for a pickup if you are local. There are few places locally in north & central MD for QUALITY plants and this place is it. I am a satisfied customer who has returned for service anytime I need plants.
