I'm Margot Robert - Full time photographer and visual storyteller, part time adventurer, traveler and surfer. I'm always on the go, camera in tow, snapping shots of recently engaged love birds in Palm Springs, newlyweds partying in Los Angeles or soul mates renewing their vows in Malibu. I'm a hopeless romantic (a terrible side effect of my french DNA) and forever in love with capturing beautiful and timeless moments.

Living in Paris after my formal education had ended offered me lots of opportunities to shoot, and I took my camera everywhere. Among university friends I quickly became the "official (aka: annoying) photographer". I was obsessed with taking portraits of everybody and everything. Even back then I found beauty in people's stories and importance in the small things that made them different.

I have not had a professional photo taken of me in well over ten years, but thanks to Margot I now have a whole file of amazing pictures that show what I look like now, but in the best way possible! Margot is amazing. We've had our family photos taken several times before, and I can usually find a few I like. I am not sure what magic Margot has, but I loved nearly every shot. Margot is an amazing photographer who is easy to work with. She responded on time, was reliable, and just fantastic! I would recommend her to anyone who wants truly amazing photos. We took our outside at a believe gum grove park. The photos of my family and my little boys individually are stunning. Margot is an up and coming photographer. Not only is she professional, but she made this photoshoot memorable. I have never gotten my pictures taken by a photographer and I highly recommend Margot and I will explain why.

My business and partner and I started an event music company last year and when our one year anniversary rolled around we contacted Margot to take some photos and commemorate it. I had 3 sessions in total with Margot: a portrait shoot at the beach a couple years ago, and 2 maternity sessions this year (one was in an intimate indoor setting, and the other one was outdoors).
Let me tell you... when I saw the pictures I couldn't believe my eyes. Margot's talent behind the camera is incredible, you can tell that she loves what she does and she knows exactly what she is doing. She loves people and is amazing at creating the most comfortable atmosphere for everyone in the photoshoot. She even managed to put my husband at ease (he naturally "feels awkward"

We hired Margot last minute to shoot our son's 1st birthday at a venue in Pasadena. Although things had to be expedited more quickly than usual, she was very accommodating and helpful.
Margot was able to capture wonderful photos during what seemed like a very quick (and very busy!) party... from detail shots, to the guests, to the smash cake, and, of course the birthday boy! She also got many pictures of my (now) late grandmother, which I treasure deeply and am so grateful to have. She was friendly, personable, and great all around

Margot is amazing!!! Had my 1st ever mini photo session with my newborn and she made it so easy, fun, and worthwhile! Margot was so easy and fun to work with right from our very first phone conversation. Our family came together from far & wide and it had been years since we had professional photos taken. We shared with Margot that we were looking for relaxed, casual family photos , nothing too posed.
Within 5 minutes of starting our session we were all laughing and having so much fun. Margot gave us some suggestions and maximized the outdoor space we were using. She totally captured our goofy family.

Margot is a lovely person and a very talented photographer! She captured my family perfectly during our shoot. She was also very flexible with a rain delay that kept pushing our session back because she knew our hearts were set on a sunny, outdoor shoot. I highly recommend her for any event or special occasion that you want to remember forever. BOOK HER NOW!! On a whim my fiancé and I decided that while we visit family in CA we would try to get beach engagement pictures. Margot was heaven sent! I was part of a wedding party that La Petite Photo was assisting and had a great experience. When I wanted to do a photoshoot with my young daughters for my personal photo album and potential Christmas cards, it was a no brainer to reach out and book LPP. It's hard to handle two littles so I was nervous going into the session but Margot put all my doubts to rest. Incredibly gracious and focused, she was able to capture the sweetest moments in the short window of time we had scheduled. I recently used their services for my baby shower. I was immediately impressed by the thoroughness and professionalism that I encountered after speaking with Margot. She was delightful and made a sincere effort to get a feel for my event and find out what was important to me. Upon arrival she maintained the same professional nature and friendly demeanor.
