I have been going to the Wednesday evening meditation for a few weeks now. I started meditating in my own a month ago, but coming here was like going from elementary school to Harvard. DT the nun who leads the meditation is so kind, gentle, compassionate and helpful. She is always smiling, willing to listen and answer questions. I've learned just as much about Buddhist thought in my time there as I have about meditation. If you are considering going just do it, you'll be happy you did.

The compassionate meditation center offers a variety of activities. Beginners can learn how to practice mediation and some basic Tai Chi movements. Guided meditations are wonderful and easy to follow. Q&A is encouraged and open house Dharma talks allow both beginners and seasoned practitioners the opportunity to get help with their issues and to deepen their practice and understanding.
