Auction code of conduct which is adhered to by almost every auction house in the world is that the reserve cannot be higher than the low estimate. In Burley's case they ignore this rule and lot after lot is "passed" even though the bidding went well above the low estimate. No scruples here.

Auctioneer treats people like a high school bully; rude, arrogant, better than you attitude, with an ego the size of texas, along with highly inappropriate language and behavior towards customers/ consigners.
Auctioneer fails to adhere to their own auction contracts.
If you're looking to sell antiques, definitely bring them somewhere else, auctioneer charges the buyer 20% and the seller 20% = total $40% commission he makes!
When you're rich you don't have to bother yourself with caring about how you treat other people....

Robb is amazing. He handled my Father’s Antique gun collection. My Father ( who passed away Dec 2020) only trusted Robb with his collection. Since my dad has passed I can still call Robb for any advice I need . This man treats us like family. We feel blessed to have this gallery right here in Texas . No collection is too big or too small. My Father instructor me that if he passed away and I needed to sell or buy anything- only trust this auction house!

Burley Auction is the best auction house in Texas. They consistently have some of the rarest and most unique items I have ever seen. The auction is fast paced and entertaining, exactly how it should be.

The prices are great and it's a great chance to find some amazing items of all types. I highly recommend catching their next auction and see some history.

Fast paced auctioneer. I went to the Threadgill's auction Mr. Burley ran. He was thorough and if there was a discrepancy in the descriptions, he settled things fairly and was very clear about it. There were over 400 lots in this auction and some descriptions in the guide book varied from the video screen. ( ie. lot 24 was described as lot 25 in the book) I also laughed when he politely asked some rowdy folks to be quiet, they were disrupting the back and forth bidding.
Great experience, lots fun. I will be going to more of his auctions in the future ( Dicks Classic Car Museum)
