I encouraged my bf to seek a professional after multiple poor attempts at stretching out a new pair of boots I bought him. They're tough to break in. I saw a few recommendations from the Living in Oakland park Facebook group and finally got him here. Owner was very helpful and turnaround time surprisingly fast considering how busy they look. He still had issues with them (weird feet lol) and they were fixed right away. The price was reasonable.
Will be returning to see if they can save a couple wrecked shoes I have.

Took a pair of pumps on 12/19/2020 and asked the person in the shop to shorten the heels, the normal high of the heel was /is 11”cm. The man in the shop said no problem it will be done in 30 min. I asked for a ticket the man said I have your name that’s enough. We left the shoes., and pick them up 30 minutes later., the man said you are all done and charged $18.00. To my surprise I tried the shoe when I got home and there was no difference so I measured the heel and noticed nothing was done. We called the shop and the man had the nerve to say he did lower the heel when he did nothing, except

Horrible repairs. I had a pair of shoes where the heel leather had accidentally been pushed up. I took the shoes to this cobbler and instead of first pulling the heel leather back in place so it wouldn't look bunched up, they just slapped glue over it and called it a day. They charged me $8 to just add some glue with their fingers to the heel. So heels look the same with now some glob of glue on an expensive pairs of heels. I could've done that myself. Ladies please do not take your shoes to this cobbler. They don't have experience with women 's shoes. They will make them worse.

I was recommended this place and it was close by and I loved these lil booties. I’ve worn them to death, quite literally, had them for over 5years and was contemplating just buying new. But, they are the most comfortable and broken in, I’ve worn them for hours/all day without any issues so I wanted to salvage them.

The owner is a very personable quiet man and takes pride in what he does. I’ve taken several pair of shoes to get reheeled throughout the last couple years and have always been very satisfied. When he reheels a shoe It actually keeps me safe because it prevents sliding on a slippery floor. He actually educated me about that!

Never going back. Ruined my $1200 shoes. When we said the job was not well done the guy was extremely rude and said he could put red paint to cover it up. Why do i want red paint put on my red bottom shoes?? We went to leave than went back and demanded they fix the shoes he threw the box in my face and said he would call security if we did not leave. They did a very sloppy job on my shoes. The old man we dropped the shoes off with was nice but his son who now owns the store is extremely rude and has no business skills. He stood behind his work even though the work is very sloppy.

The man who fixed my shoe got a horrible temper.. and bad experiences from first day .. that was just rude.. I’ll let it fly.. then at pick up I was unhappy with the work he did. Then I complained and more rudeness came at me. “ go somewhere else “ younger guy upfront was unhelpful and told me “have a nice Day. Typical from a store like this one. Never go back again. Now I have to go and repair my shoe.

I’ve been coming to this shoe repair store for many years and have always been very happy until recently. I brought in a pair of Jimmy Choo wedges and had the soles replaced. They had done my Jimmy Choo’s before and I was happy. This time however they put a totally different color (mud grey) sole that was a totally different color than the original (light tan) or anything that would match the tan patent leather wedges. Since you can see the side of the soles from the side of the shoe where the wedge is it’s super obvious
and looks horrible. I wish I could include a photo of how ridiculous
