Nestled in the heart of Northeast Ohio's Amish Country, Mary Yoder's Amish Kitchen, Bakery, and Gift Shop is located in Middlefield, Ohio in Geauga County. Middlefield is the center of the fourth largest Amish community in the world! Mary Yoder's Amish Kitchen opened in 1987 and is owned by Dan and Rita Miller.

We offer a full-service restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner; a bakery; a private banquet room; and a gift shop that features a wide selection of handmade items. For added convenience, we also have an online store, where you can order baked goods and gifts and have them shipped directly to your doorstep!

Gift Shop Report

Visiting the gift shop at Mary Yoder's Amish Kitchen is part of the fun when dining with us! In our gift shop, you'll find many Amish-made crafts as well as so much more. For the kids, you'll find a wall of soft, cudly stuffed animals and plenty of other toys and games. Kids of all ages will love the jams, jellies, noodles, and locally-made chocolates.

Cod was very tasty but a smaller portion than elsewhere. Homemade mac and cheese was not nearly as flavorful as homemade implies. Mashed potatoes were good but were barely warm. It was very near closing time. Maybe it was a fluke.

Some buffets look good but taste blah... this buffet met every expectation! Kind service and a great meal! Cottage cheese and real bacon for salad as well as a full course meal, can't give it enough stars!

Amazing. Very cute gift shop, as well. I had the roasted pork and some mashed potatoes and sweet potato fries. Very delicious, especially the butters/dips. Highly recommend getting a bite here; even for a day trip.

I went here with my Aunt and Mother for a afternoon lunch. When we got there, it was kind of crowded but it's okay since the wait wasn't long at all. The waitress was very kind. The food was great, and I split the Chicken Dinner, it was very good but I honestly thought they would give us a but more. Also, though the bathrooms were clean, the water in them was FREEZING, would not warm up! Overall a pricey but still worth it.

If you want comfort food, then this is your restaurant. So many great things on the menu: roast pork dinner, roast beef dinner, meatloaf and so many more. They also have the best salad bar, hot food bar. I've never had anything i didn't like. Then there's their pies. You have to try at least one slice or get it to go. So yummy!!

They have the best mash potatoes out if anywhere i have ever been and everything else has been just as awsome, great meatloaf, great fish. Have not been disappointed one yet!

Went there for breakfast buffet food was good, nice service everyone have there smiles so lovely. There jams vary, bought some of them. I forgot to buy pie I'll will definitely go back there again soon.
