Each frame is hand selected by Anja and her husband, during International Optical Trade Shows or in house while visiting with the designers themselves.

Our highly experienced and enthusiastic optometrist Dr. Ryan Sacksteder is available to ensure our clients are seeing their best and get the attention and care that they deserve. Dr. Ryan Sacksteder is a board certified optometrist who has been proudly serving St Petersburg since 2012.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington, Dr. Sacksteder went on to complete his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry at the Eye Institute of Chicago.Dr. Sacksteder loves calling St Petersburg home where he enjoys all the outdoor activities that this beautiful city has to offer.

I love the selection, product quality, service and professionalism from Anja and her team at Optik. I have purchased eyeglasses from two different European style eyeglass providers in St Petersburg. Optik is hands down the highest quality frames, lenses and best service. They even service frames and make adjustments on items purchased elsewhere! I strongly recommend Optik. The best in the greater St Pete -Tampa area!

What a great place. First of all, the crew at Optik! are always upbeat, super helpful and completely engaged in your quest for outstanding eyewear. And their eyewear is amazing. I’ve never seen a better collection of unique, one-of-a-kind frames. I think all of it comes from the fashion centers in Europe and all of the product is top quality. And once you make a selection, the staff goes the extra mile to insure a proper fit. Overall, a great experience.

I must say that of all the optical shops I have frequented (in the many states that I have lived) in the many years I’ve been wearing corrective lenses Optik! Is by far the best! Neil is the absolute professional..: never once pressuring me into a frame that I just wasn’t sure about. He happily spent hours with me while I tried on a bunch of different options, gave me his honest opinion, stayed late for me to bring my family in to give me their opinions, kept me in the loop about timing for the finished glasses and always with a great disposition! I would recommend this shop without hesitation

I can’t speak highly enough of Optik. First of all, they have the BEST customer service of any optical shop I’ve ever visited. Neil was so helpful with my indecision regarding frames. He is so knowledgeable and helped me order the frames I wanted. From start to finish, the process was flawless and EASY. The selection of frames is large, and the frames are unique and awesome. It was hard to choose. You will not regret shopping here. I love my DUTZ frames and the crystal-clear progressive lenses. The fit is perfect. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Thank you Neil for a great experience

Having lived in Southern California most of my life, I’m more accustomed to having access to unique eyewear. After several failed attempts at finding anything more than the usual in eyeglasses here in Pinellas County, I found Optik through a thorough Google search. I left my ophthalmologist with my new prescription and decided to pop in to Optik. Wow! The selection of high-end frames is unbelievable. I grabbed what I liked and then sat down with Anya.
