After faithfully serving in the United States Air Force, I separated from the military to spend more time at home with my family and start a new photography business. The problem was, I couldn't find a photographer who could really capture all the different facets of who I was as a woman and business owner, and all the ways that make me unique!
As a self-started, woman-owned business, I know it seems nearly impossible that one sentence, a few colors, and some photos can possibly highlight everything that encompasses your brand. Well, take a deep breath, girlfriend, because this is why Melissa Raelynn photography exists. There's always time and reason to work on taking your brand's first impression to the next professional level.

Melissa was phenomenal. She attended to my preferences and still provided her opinions. I did not know how to pose or look for pictures, and Melissa had a way of making it all feel so natural. I actually felt a little like a celebrity! I would highly recommend her and her work!

Melissa is a total Rockstar with that camera. Her professionalism and upbeat personality made me feel comfortable from our very first conversation. Before I came to see Melissa for my Branding session my headahot was very amateur and 1 of them even made my hair look green on my business cards. Since my Branding session my confidence has soared even higher. I never really like having my picture taken but I felt like a different person while Melissa was helping me pose and she was abooting the right angles qirh the perfect lighting. If you're considering updated headshots or branding photographs ponder no longer! Melissa is wonderful and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results! The whole experience was painless from scheduling and outfit recommendations to being pampered by the talented Dora and having Melissa work her camera magic. As a photographer myself, I am usually behind the lens. The idea of sitting for portraits makes my palms sweat and my mind immediately goes to all the things about myself that I don't like. My teeth could be straighter, my cheeks are too big, my skin is splotchy. And those thoughts have always kept me from doing sessions, ESPECIALLY without proper hair and makeup. So when Melissa suggested I take part in her Woman Empowerment sessions, I was really anxious about it. Shesent me the questionnaire and it asked questions that I didn't exactly know how to answer. From start to finish Melissa did a wonderful with my head shot photos. As an attorney I wanted my photos to be sophisticated and a bit traditional without being boring and stiff. Melissa was able to create and capture beautiful photos for my business. I've worked with many photographers on other projects and I have found a photo is more than just snapping the camera. With Melissa she instructed me how to pose which not all photographers know how to do. This was a huge plus for me since I tend to awkwardly pose lol.
