Jo was an absolute delight to work with! She made us feel so at ease and comfortable, and was so encouraging. She really pays attention to the small details, which is exactly what you need in a photographer. We followed her direction and are so incredibly pleased with the photos. I met Jo through networking and I saw examples of her work. When it came time to update my headshots for my work I knew I wanted to work with her. We worked outside only, to comply with the regulations at the time, and I ended up with a number of shots that perfectly met my requirements. Jo is professional, and I had a really fun time during the shoot. We worked quickly but it was never rushed. We laughed and that is reflected in the final shots. I highly recommend her.

I heard that Jo was a superb photographer, through a friend that lives in Surrey. I was looking to get a family photographer to capture some natural family photographs. I thought this would be a problem given that I live in Edinburgh but NOTHING was a problem for Jo. From our initial phone call, Jo made me feel at ease and when we flew her up to Scotland to see us, my Son loved her. I had been looking for some time for the right photographer to take pictures of my daughter and her horse and I found the perfect person in Jo. Both my daughter and her horse were very quickly at ease with her and she took great care to choose the time and setting to reflect the pair of them at their best. Before the big day we had 2 visits from Jo to discuss our requirements to ensure that she knew exactly what we were looking for. On the day itself she was amazing. Jo looked after us from start to finish. She came over in advance and talked us through our shoot, advised us what to wear and the kids took to her instantly. She has such a lovely way with them and had such fun with us all on the day. She kept the kids busy with snacks and bubbles! It was so hard to choose our favourites with so many lovely shots. Jo just did the photography for my wedding in September. It has been a joy to work with her and the photographs that she took have been amazing! They really captured the feeling of our wedding which was about good friends and family reunions....This was the second wedding for both my husband and I and we wanted simplicity but quality. We got that from the venue and Jo captured the love and happiness of that day. I haven't been able to figure out how to copy her pictures from her gallery yet but I hope she puts some of our pictures on her website. All of our guests who are now looking at her gallery

We have used Jo twice in the last six months for newborn and family photos. Jo is so professional and takes beautiful photos, but more than that she is so easy to work with and understands the kind of images you want to create. Having our pictures taken in our home was a first for us and Jo made us feel very comfortable, didn't rush us at all and utilised the space and light really well.
