Elegant Tailoring and Bridal is a one stop shop. We sell wedding gowns off the rack, as well as customized gowns. After the bride chooses her gown, we can help her choose bridesmaid dresses that everyone will love. We also offer mother-of-the-bride dresses and tuxedo rentals. It is convenient to order everything through our shop because we can coordinate matching colors for the bridesmaids and vests and ties for the groomsmen.
What makes us a unique bridal shop is that we also do tailoring. Unlike other shops, we do alterations here in our store, so we know exactly what can and cannot be modified for your dress. We will never misinform you about a dress, just to sell it to you - however when possible, we can raise or change the shape of necklines, add sleeves, change the shape of skirt, or add a bolero jacket.

Services
My love of sewing started when I was young girl in Vietnam. My dad was a master tailor and I was his little helper. After he made the suits, I would sew on buttons and finish the hemlines. I would use the scraps to make clothes for my dolls. I also learned how to crochet from my grandmother. She taught me how to count stitches and change patterns to make tops and even a dress for my doll.
Linh strives to help brides through the often stressful process of finding the "perfect" dress. Many brides come in with a particular dress style in mind. However, the myriad of styles are overwhelming, and the dresses in the catalogs are not always exactly right. With proper planning, Linh can help you find the right dress to match your preferences and body type.
Linh has managed the complexities of dressing many different types of bridal parties, large and small. She will work with you to make sure that all of your bridesmaids are fitted properly, in time for your big day. You can choose from a wide selection of dresses appropriate for all shapes and sizes to accommodate your entire party.
Elegant Tailoring is an authorized dealer for the Wedding Gown Preservation Company. After your big day, you can have your special dress cleaned and preserved for future generations. The Wedding Gown Preservation Company has specialized in gown preservation for over 100 years and has built a trusted name among brides for many generations.

Sew Elegant is the BEST. Period. They were recommended to me by my bridal shop and I couldn’t be happier with how my dress turned out. I had my dress tailored back home in MA, but decided I wanted to make some last minute changes at the hips before the big day. They made an appointment for me the following weekend and made all alterations in less than a week’s time so I could have my dress back with plenty of time to spare. Esin was just wonderful. She truly listened to what I envisioned and showed me exactly how she would do it. She let me take all the time I needed to come to a decision.

Esin was incredibly kind and willing to work with my budget, and the dress came out perfectly. I have heard horror stories about bustles coming undone during weddings but my bustle held strong!

Esin is wonderful and professional and made the process of altering my dress so easy. My dress was fully beaded and it looked perfect. She made sure that the mechanics for the bustle were invisible underneath my sheer train. Would absolutely recommend Sew Elegant if you purchased a dress from Lovely Bride or any other salon in the tri-state area!

I had my wedding gown altered here and they did a fantastic job! The owner is so very kind, professional, and helpful. Her and her staff worked dilligently to get my gown ready in a matter of weeks, and the quality of their work was impeccable. I was also treated so warmly and truly enjoyed going there for my fittings. I will definitely be using their services again in the future for any other alterations!

Esin, is the most talented, thoughtful, professional tailor. I cannot say enough good words about my experience. Based on a tight timeline she worked her magic and fit me into her schedule. I was running late as New Yorkers do and she waited patiently for me for all my appointments. She was so flexible and goes above and beyond. Her work speaks volumes and is absolutely worth the price. I walked in for my first alterations appointment today. Got there 5 minutes early. The receptionist said hello took my dress and had me change right away - no introduction to the process, no conversation with the seamstress, just straight into the room.
