Cinnamon Energy Systems helped us get monitoring of our existing solar system after our original installer went out of business. Paula Doan, the Project Manager was experienced with the requirements and process. She scheduled a system check for the following week. Jonathan Munoz, the Field Superintendent was knowledgeable, professional and conscientious. He had us up and running in less than two hours. A wonderful solar experience... Cinnamon Energy Systems, of Campbell/Los Gatos, is the best! Cinnamon is one of the best contractors I have ever worked with, in any trade. I have been thinking about installing solar for some time and now glad I did. On a scale of one-to-ten (ten- the highest), I would rate Cinnamon an ELEVEN. Lots of positives:

Had a 9kw system (25x LG360, 25x SE OPTIMIZER, 1x SE10000H) recently installed at my house. This was to replace an older system which was installed back in Dec2007.
Glad I found Cinnamon Energy to assist me selecting a new system that meets my energy needs. The most important criteria in selecting a solar installer for me was to find a vendor who is local, accessible and been around for at least ten years. Although solar system is mostly a plug and forget type of thing I value the fact that I am able to call for assistance when need arises.
As we went through system selection I found their recommended

Very happy with our new solar system!
Cinnamon was very professional and knowledgeable from day one. Chris came out and took aerial photos of our roof to give us a detailed estimate and help design our system.
Paula in the office was super responsive and made things flow smoothly. Install was scheduled for two days and they finished in one.
A little over a week later and the system has been approved by the building inspector and PG&E. Big thumbs up!

Cinnamon Energy Systems did both great work and had exceptional customer service. Even before we decided to get a solar system, we had been getting calls from other solar providers for years. So when we first started getting bids from companies, we started with some of those. We found that most solar providers are doing more high pressure sales and trying to convince you to sign up for payment plans, leases, and upselling you on batteries and other add ons that get them higher commissions. We finally decided it was time to do solar. We evaluated 5 or 6 companies and chose Cinnamon because of the professionalism of the team - particularly Roger. And their price was quite competitive. The installation was done on time and on schedule and we are very pleased with the design, installation and operation. Alejandro, who installed the inverters and connections was quite helpful also. Highly recommended!

We have now worked with Cinnamon Energy Systems for two system installations. Prior to that, we had worked with Barry Cinnamon at his former company. These guys are knowledgeable, responsive and they simply get the job done.
For our present project the panel shipper was delayed in getting them the panels so work couldn't start as scheduled. Rather than continue to wait for the delivery they identified an alternate source to get the panels sooner and start/finish the job.
Highly recommended.

I had a roof leak during the latest rain in late Spring. I had a roofer out and they said the leak seems to be coming from under my solar panels. I had to quickly find someone to remove the panels so tiles could be repaired. Barry responded quickly to my ND posting. He was able to get me a price estimate by looking at my roof from Google Maps. The same weekend he stopped by to confirm. His guys were quick to come out and removed the panels in a few hours. After scheduling for the roofer to come out, his guys met the roofer. Once the roof repairs were done, they were able to put back the panels

Very professional from start to finish. Barry, the owner, took the time to meet us and came our the site to personally inspect it on several occasions. I love the fact that this a personable local company vs an impersonal nationwide chain. Pricing was also fair and actually cheaper than some of the bigger solar places we compared. For starters, the owner, Barry Cinnamon, gives a weekend seminar (weekly? monthly?) at their warehouse which is a great way to learn about the industry, the trends, and the considerations for installing solar.
Barry is not just the guy offering those informative weekend lectures. He also answered our questions by email and phone, and he visited our home twice to help make design decisions as we planned for our solar installation.
Our house is just old enough that special considerations were needed for hooking up the power to the PG&E grid

We had cinnamon install solar on our house in Los Gatos and they did a great job.
I spoke with 3 other firms and cinnamon was not only competitive on price they where the only ones who came to the house and discussed our plans and provided advice.
Install happen on time, they handled all the paperwork with PG&E and got us running very quickly.

Just like other reviewers, we had done lots of homework before deciding on a Solar Contractor. Cinnamon Solar became the obvious choice for a number of reasons. They were flexible with regard to panel choice. They shared our high regard for the use of micro-inverters. Like most of the reviews before me, I am tremendously pleased with Cinnamon Solar. From the very beginning interview with Scott to the post installation followup with Libni, they have been exemplary. I would like to point out the highlights rather than boring you with flowery prose.

Cinnamon Solar just completed an installation for my home. This review is about the install experience. Quality of product will need longer time of usage before a reasonable review can be given.
I have a south facing roof with no trees that can cause shading of the solar panels. So the roof location is perfect for installation.
