When it comes to installing a new surface, there's a lot to consider. From the budget you're working with over your longevity needs to your time constraints, there are any number of factors that contribute to what will ultimately be the best surface solution for you. But one of the first, and arguably most important, decisions you'll have to make is the material you'll use for your surface.
Asphalt repair is a crux of our service. That's because no matter how high-quality the materials and surface you have to begin with, asphalt always has an expiration date. Over time, the wear and tear from any number of factors, like inclement weather, vehicle leakages and the massive weight of the vehicles themselves will inevitably take their toll on asphalt.
To better understand the importance of asphalt sealcoating, it helps to know a bit more about what, exactly, asphalt is. Asphalt is a strong, flexible surface comprised of a combination of sand, tar, rock and bitumen. The rock and sand make it strong and long-lasting while the tar and bitumen make it flexible.
The truth of the matter is, no matter how high-quality your materials and how perfect the application, all asphalt has an expiration date. That's because things like extreme weather, leakages from vehicles and the weight of the cars themselves will inevitably cause cracks and depressions in an asphalt surface over time.
It's a fact of life in our industry-potholes happen. Whether it's a parking lot or a road surface, potholes can form anywhere. Potholes form in both asphalt and concrete because of regular use by vehicles and exposure to weather and certain chemicals. Even the highest-quality paved surface can form potholes if proper precautions aren't taken.

We have used Contractors on many paving and sealcoating jobs. We would never use anyone else. I have tried other companies but no one gives use the quality and service that Contractors does. Jason and Shawn are by far the best in the paving business.

I didn't end up needing any work done due to an incredibly long story. However, I spoke with Brett several times and he was great. He was very understanding and went above and beyond to try to help me out. Even though I didn't end up using their services, I could tell by the way things were handled, how responsive they were, etc., the work would have gone well and I would not hesitate to use Contractors Asphalt for any future needs.
