A Sugaring is a form of hair removal that dates back to Ancient Egyptian times. It is a process by which a warmed sugar paste (ours is organic and fair trade) is applied to the desired area of the body and molded several times. As the sugar paste is molded, it adheres to the hair at the follicle. Through a gentle flicking motion, the hair is removed from the root in the natural direction of growth.
For 48 hours after a sugaring treatment, hair follicles will remain open and skin may be more sensitive. So, it's important to be aware of certain post-treatment recommendations. Natural oils, body butters, and serums are great options for keeping sugared skin hydrated, but should not be applied in the area to be sugared on the day of the appointment.

I’ve been here twice now for sugaring and I am officially converted from waxing! I used to go to the popular chain but got frustrated with employee turnover and how it sometimes felt rushed and not as thorough or professional. Green City is very clean with a welcoming and calming atmosphere. I’ve seen Julie both times here, and she is so sweet and friendly and takes her time to really get everything. My favorite thing is it seems much gentler if you have sensitive skin. I highly recommend!

I have been to this spa a few times to get my eyebrows waxed and shaped. Each time I love the way they look and even get compliments on my eyebrows from strangers!!
I really enjoy going here because it is relaxing and very clean, unlike most of the nail places in the area who do eyebrows. I also had a body scrub here and it was amazing. My skin was so soft for days. I highly recommend this place and Ashley is awesome and is really knowledgeable about her products and being green is a plus.
