For 25 years, Kurt has provided design and consulting services for various planning and landscape architecture projects throughout the United States. In June of 2009, he left as a managing partner of MKEC Engineering Consultant in Kansas City to open the doors of LORAX Design Group.

LDG creates landscape plans that incorporate precise plant materials and details of design to create spaces that capture your attention upon arrival and invite you to stay.
Landscape is the glue that binds the various components of a project together. If done with precision, plants will soften the hard lines of manmade elements, compliment an architectural style, provide a sense of scale to outdoor rooms, offer privacy, and introduce seasonal interest with various colors, contrasting textures, unique forms and pleasant aromas.
Apartment & condominium communities in the past decade have continued to elevate the quantity & quality of amenities offered to their residents. Many of these developments are very similar to high-end resort communities. Lorax Design Group has assisted many of our clients in achieving a luxurious resort experience with the addition of swimming pools, event lawns, pavilions, fire features, outdoor kitchens and recreational amenities.

Lorax design group is the most conscientious and creative team in the region. Specializing in designs that feature state-of-the-art swimming pools. Their founder, Kurt Kraisinger, is all work-ethic, and I was amazed at how intimately involved he was from start to finish. If you want a perfectionist, you want to work with Lorax. We at McRoberts Building Corp have contracted Kurt and his team of experts to create master plans and 3D animation videos for two different projects now. Every dealing we have had with Lorax has been organized, professional, and the results are always top notch. Kurt is knowledgeable and takes the time to really listen and understand the scope of each project and what is needed from him. As a local custom home builder the animation videos Lorax has produced for us have been invaluable marketing tools and really brought each project to life with serious wow factor. I cannot rave enough about the work Kurt and his team did for my project. I had a very different vision than I think most homeowners in my area have for their outdoor spaces. After nixing 2 prior landscape designers who did not "get it" I was referred to Kurt, who took my odd-shaped lot, tear sheets from books and magazines and presented me with exactly what I had been looking for. Clean, modern, inviting and gorgeous. The LORAX team was open to me actively participating in the process and found a solution for any question I posed.
