Tremont Scoops
An independent ice cream shop in Cleveland, Ohio serving locally made ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, regional novelties, vegan treats, and much much more! Located smack dab in the middle of Professor Avenue in Tremont. We can see Rocco down at Fahrenheit, Edison's is across the street baking pizza and people are starting to swing into the Treehouse on the corner.

Three good friends that got together one day and started an ice cream shop in their neighborhood.

Went with my girlfriend on 9/12. My gf saw and approached another patron’s dog outside while I went inside. I heard the lady behind the counter say “even a 4 year old knows better than that”. She should mind her own business and not disrespect my woman. Will never go here again.

The staff is always so friendly here! They have great rotating options. They even have fantastic vegan flavors, and pup cups for your dog.

(visited on 9/4/21) My favorite aspect is that they've got 4-5 varieties of ice cream cones to complement their ice cream, including a unique pretzel one to balance any ice cream that's super sweet. To help prevent the spread of COVID, they didn't have any tables inside.

Serving up some of the best ice cream in town, their flavors are hard to beat! A major bonus having vegan options too

Salted caramel is my favorite or the vegan vanilla strawberry Sunday! Staff is amazing and the prices for the amount of goodness is amazing!

This is a bright, airy, cozy ice cream shop inside a vintage brick Tremont building. Inside, you'll find over 20 rotating flavors, plus a focused selection of sundaes and shakes.

As for the ice cream, I chose the cookie monster and salted caramel blitz. The former was provocatively colored light blue, just like our adorkable Mr. Nom Nom Nom friend, while offering plenty of cookie and creamy goodness. The salted caramel blitz had, well, plenty of rich, deep, salted notes of caramel, for lack of a better description. All very enjoyable, although as someone who has lived in the Bay Area for

Very nice Ice cream shop. Owner was serving up scoops and was nice to talk with while there. Creative flavors and very well priced. Would definitely go back again.

The ice cream was good and I was allowed to try different flavours. However, clearly they are in the business of overcharging customers. I came in on Thursday July 22 and a very young (kind of shy) girl charged me $8 for one scoop on a sugar cone. The staff seems to be unfamiliar with the prices.

I wanted to love the place because the owner was so nice and so helpful. The ice cream was good, but not great. The serving size was decent.

It's a clean, nice little place

I went here with a group of friends for the first time last week, not planning to get anything. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the rich flavors and texture of the non-dairy flavors. I liked the vegan mint chocolate chip ice cream sample so much that I ended up ordering a pint. The vegan flavors I tried (also chocolate) weren't icy at all and I am looking forward to coming back!!

Phenomenal, underrated ice cream here and quick service. The staff had masks on which I appreciated and the buckeye blast was amazing. Very affordable too for the price, so a good value.

Bright & colorful this place has the basic flavors plus a few unique ones like PB&AJ. I tried the Buckeye ice cream since it's a popular candy in Ohio! Rich peanut butter flavor with chocolate swirls. Vegan flavor options also available. No indoor seating and ice cream cones are given in a cup. Basic sugar cones are free but a waffle cone or larger are and extra $1. A scoop of ice cream is $4. No parking lot as with many places in Tremont. One thing that was a bit off putting was receiving an email from them later thanking to destroy the local ice cream competition in the area. I

Stopped by after dinner in tremont the other day to try this place out. They aren't currently allowing samples, so I just went with the vegan mint chocolate chip. It was *seriously* good. I don't think anyone trying it would even be able to tell it was vegan. As a heads up, they also aren't allowing indoor seating at the moment, but there are chairs and benches available outside for you to enjoy your ice cream.

Tremont Scoops is open for take out only. They offer a great variety of flavors on their limited menu. I got a double scoop, mint chip and vegan vanilla. The mint chip was great and reminded me of an Andes mint. The vegan vanilla I could do without-- the texture was soupy and the vanilla flavor did not impress.

They rocked it.

Kiki got a vegan mint chip. She said it was awesome. I got a salty caramel truffle. This was really delicious. I was going to get bourbon pecan pie, but I asked for a recommendation, and I'm glad I did because I just read Anna H.'s review that said it didn't taste like either bourbon or pecan pie. The salty caramel truffle was salty, caramelly, and I don't know what truffle means, but I'm going to use some context clues to assume they were the small chocolate covered caramel candies inside.

Two kids cost $4.50. They were pretty decent sized. I felt like

$4.25 for one scoop with one topping choice, add a dollar for two scoops. Bananas foster ice cream was nice with bits of caramelized banana chips in a banana vanilla-ish ice cream. Convenient 15 min parking along the street right in front. Currently no dine-in. Shakes just under $6 blended right in front of you. Friendly staff.

Solid ice cream! Bummer that we couldn't get any samples because of COVID, but I was still happy with my flavors. I got a single scoop with bananas foster and bourbon pecan- the bananas foster was definitely the winner! A nice addition to the Tremont area, and I'd definitely stop in again!

If you're looking for a contender for one of the better ice cream places in the Cleveland area then you should consider Tremont Scoops to be on that list. With a local ice cream giant in the neighboring area, I feel like Tremont Scoops is always under the radar. Everything from the service to the ice cream is great! The flavors are constantly changing and the option of getting (3) pints for $15 is a steal. This is one of my favorite ice cream places and I recommend that everyone should check it out!

It's hard to rate an ice cream shop on the basis of only one scoop … but between the four of us and our five scoops, it's reported that all were delicious.
The employees behind the counter were quick and accurate, although perhaps a little understaffed.
Overall, we had a great experience.

Awesome ice cream shop around Cleveland. Nice and cozy place to cool off from the heat. The inside of this shop was amazing with swings and great variety of ice cream flavors. Ordered the vegan cookie and cream on a waffle cone. It was great made of almond milk. You can ask for samples of their different flavors. Will definitely come back to get more ice cream and walk around the neighborhood.

It's not bad, but it's not Mitchell's. Still, in the heart of restaurant-rich Tremont, if you're looking for something after dinner, or in the afternoon, that's in the neighborhood, Tremont Scoops is a cute neighborhood shop that uses the same supplier that makes Superman, and other stock flavors.

The mouth feel of that ice cream is good, not great. The flavors are largely the same stock stuff I see at the mom and pop Indian-run ice cream shops around Florida. Certainly no worse than Baskin Robbins, but a big step below local champ Mitchell's or Ben & Jerry&apos

Vegan ice cream! And it's absolutely delicious! I fell in love with this spot - the ice cream is spot on AND they do ice cream sandwiches and milkshakes. What more could one desire from a neighborhood ice cream spot? :) Service was great when I visited (even though it was way too close to closing time!).
