I grew up in San Diego. Then moved to Tennessee to get out of that crazy state! I missed good Mexican food the whole time I lived in Tennessee. Then I moved to Texas a found Alvarado this place is the best food I have had in years hands down! Do yourself a favor try it. The staff is great! Only problem we just moved to Saginaw from North Richland Hills. But you bet we still go there a often as we can! Hey guy’s how about an Alvarado 2 in Saginaw?

I ordered the Birra tacos. It had bones in it. Half fat half bones. They went thru my already used plate to see how much I consumed. They wouldn't give me rice and beans back since I ate those, which is fine. So I got chicken tacos to go. But they literally touched the food I spit out. Then touched a pen and cash register. All while taking another customers order. Seemed gross! Coming from food service, myself, "WE DONT TAKE/TOUCH ANY FOOD DISAPPOINTED WITH" also no apologies and rude.

I love this place. Or at least I used to. Quality has gone down and after my last two visits being “one star” experiences, I don’t know if I’ll be returning. The last time I ordered my food was COLD COLD, like refrigerator cold.... I had to heat it up in the microwave for a whole minute before it was even warm. Not only gross but so disappointing. Old tortillas and watery guacamole to make the entire meal just awful. We spent/ wasted $25, for nasty cold food.

It's a hole in the wall Mexican Food Joint with a drive thru in the back. The staff is kind, patient and helpful. The food quality is is horrendous. The photos look way better than the actual food. The fries were a little cold, the beans were dry & the rice was so generic and nasty. They have a watermelon drink that is AMAZING! Other than that I really wouldn't give this place another chance unless I were absolutely desperate. Ultimately, its your decision so don't just take my word for it because who knows? You just might even end up liking this place. But I however will not be returning to this

The pictures are deceiving. Upon arrival I noticed one of the workers leaving dollar general with the items that is sold on the menu. Not that there’s anything wrong with the way groceries are purchased but this is def enlightening in regards to the taste and quality of the food, absolutely disgusting. I couldn’t finish anything. Firstly, you are not greeted at all and once you order, you pay although this is a restaurant. I ordered a taco and tostada plate with beans and rice. They did not season anything at all. The rice was bland, the beans were watery, there was no meat on my tostada, maybe

Love this place!! Been eating here for maybe 10 years or so way before they ever moved to this location. The food is always great and their breakfast burritos are well worth the money they are like $4.50 but they are HUGE (me and a coworker used take turns swinging by in the mornings and we would just split the burrito for breakfast at work) but some of the menu is kind of expensive in my opinion like the super fries that I had today. I paid $13 for super fries and a drink. Definitely a 5 Star rating if they were a little less expensive in my opinion but other than that a GREAT Mexican food restaurant
