It works by doubling water capacity, preventing leaf clogs at the top of the downspout, and protecting your underground pipes with a leaf filter clean-out box. Leaf screens and covers create more problems than they solve. They block the top of the gutter causing leaves, needles, and other debris to accumulate ON the gutter.

I had Leafdrop install all new gutters with their special leaf screening system. As long as you clean out the screens occasionally during fall these gutter really perform well. It’s easy to do. Whenever I remember or walk by the downspout I clean them out. It takes seconds and is much better than having your gutters fill with debris and overflow which could cause damage to your fascia and other wood trim. For the last half year I've been using the LeafDrop downspouts and I can honestly say it made the difference between whether I wanted to stay in the house or go. Before - any time it rained - there was risk of overflow usually caused by small amounts of tiny cones that accumulated in the cages on top of the downspouts. The downspouts are connected to underground pipes so it is important that debris does not enter. Over the fall & winter seasons they performed perfectly. These gutters, thanks to Dan and his crew, removed a huge burden off my shoulders. Thank you so much!

Great experience with Shane and Dan at Leaf Drop Gutters. They replaced over 1700 feet of gutter at my apartments. Super professional and great communication. Very reasonable price for the quality I received. Got the job done in great time and left no mess. Also returned quickly for minor adjustments here and there. Dan and his crew did a great job installing gutters on our newly renovated Portland home. It is always refreshing to work with a contractor who cares about the quality of the work and doing the best job possible. They were courteous, cleaned up after the install and did a perfect job. Dan really went the extra mile; making a special trip to drop of metal color samples and returned after the install for fine tuning!! They are great.
