I had some very old matching hand carved wooden angels. One had lost a wing and had also had one break off. The other had lost her bugle. Kevin did a great job matching the small, hand carved wing and bugle. He also matched the paint and patina, attaching all at the perfect angles as well. I am more than happy with how it all turned out. I can't even tell which ones he fixed. Not sure where else I could have found someone to put the care into the woodcarving and matching.

The Mad Woodchuck (Kevin) is very talented. He did a great job building a custom breakfast nook for us in our vintage home. We are happy with the result and glad that we chose to work with him. He and his wife Becky (we called her Mrs. Woodchuck) were easy to work with and very professional. For custom wood furniture, I can't think of anyone better to build what you need.

I had a custom walking cane project that involved mounting a new brass handle onto an existing modern cane. Surprisingly, cane handles are often permanent and changing them requires cutting off the old one. I needed this cane made for my cousin's wedding, so it needed to be done professionally and look good.

I contacted Kevin and he was glad to look at my project. He originally estimated up to 2 weeks to do it, which would have been fine, but I was surprised when he called the very next day to tell me it was done! It's beautiful, as you can see in the photos. The work cost more

The Mad Woodchuck is an artist. We had a Victorian dining room table in need of a lot of work. The finish of the 6 leaves was different from the finish of the table itself, and even on its old metal casters, it was too low to sit around. We asked to have the table lifted about 3 inches, and to create matching apron pieces on each of the six leaves, so there'd be no gap when the table was ope to its full 10-foot length. Kevin and the Mad Ones crafted beautiful extensions to the bottom of the legs, and handmade the matching aprons for the leaves. The table has been completely restored with an

I have this old Maplewood Table and Chairs, Early American Style made in 1960's. I grew up with this set, from small child. I had the chairs cleaned up years ago, but the real problem was the scratches wobbly legs making the table unsteady. Well The Mad Woodchuck came to my house, pick-up the table re-finished the top surface, fix the legs, all at reasonable price that I could afford. It looks brand new. I'm so happy with the work, they have done for me. Thanks, Kevin!

I got Kevin's information from my mom who said he did the most amazing repair work on her dining room table. My dog as a puppy destroyed my dresser and scratched holes in one of my doors. Kevin came out, gave me a quote which was very reasonable and then quickly fixed the two problems. You can't even tell there was ever any damage! My dog had chewed the corner of my dresser and he re-created the corner and then matched the varnish perfectly. I'm so appreciative of his work and the fact that it looks so amazing. I would highly suggest him to anyone who needs repairs.

I am surprised this store has not been reviewed.

Kevin is really nice and a good communicator. I left an email and the same day he replied back and the next day he stopped by my house!
I fixed the wood dining table, which has a little paint off, and he made it just like new.
I am glad I found him.
