Kokua Care was established in 2003 in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Oahu to provide the best quality home care in Hawaii for our Kupuna, our precious seniors, so that they may stay as long as they choose in the homes that they love. At Kokua Care Home Care we hire Caregivers that we would have as home care for our own families.
KOKUA CARE provides professional in-home personal care nursing and companionship services that allow our clients to remain living in their own homes here in Honolulu, Hawaii. Statistics show that seniors who remain in their own homes extend their livelihoods because of the comfort, confidence and the independence that this affords them.
Personal in-home care does not have to start with in-home visits. If you, or your loved one needs a daily phone call, we will gladly do that. Personal phone calls are made to ensure that all is well. If for some reason it is not, we immediately act to get the help that is required. Personal in-home care can begin at this level, only moving to more involvement if and when needed.
One hour bathing services are now available! Bathing services have a one-hour minimum and are designed specifically for clients who just need assistance with bathing. Kokua Care also provides care services for individuals residing in independent living, assisted living and long-term care facilities.
Here you can follow the Kokua Care plan so you know exactly what to expect, from the initial meeting of our top quality Care Coordinators through evaluation of our caregiver's performance. Kokua Care values 'Aloha' and that's what you can always expect from our Hawaii caregivers. Following an inquiry, the KOKUA CARE Intake team arranges an appointment at the potential client's residence.

We didn't realize how much we needed & benefitted from the amazing staff (mahalo Jocelyn & Hedi!!) until we signed up. We used the services to provide weekend care for our mother & to provide our family with much needed respite for the weekdays. We were ecstatic with the one time arrival, level of professionalism & dedication of Hedi. Kokua Care was exactly what we needed, when we needed it. My parents needed extra care and help after my father's transplant and stroke; we weren't sure how we'd manage when he came back home, caring for him while working and taking care of the kids.
