Services
I am committed to helping people find relief and greater happiness. Twenty-five years of experience as a psychotherapist confirms my belief in the power of understanding and the possibility of change.

The fear of change can become the excitement of discovery; avoidance and running away can transform into assertiveness; holding back can give way to reaching out; confusion can crystallize into clarity and confidence; emotional pain can transform into patience and wisdom.Together, we can work to help you find the freedom and fulfillment you seek.
I am a preferred provider with Carefirst BlueCross BlueShield PPO and FEP plans. I will submit claims to Carefirst BlueCross BlueShield on your behalf. My professional services may also qualify for out-of-network reimbursement, in which case I will provide a monthly invoice for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

So far, so good. I've been meeting with Karen for over a month now, and our few sessions have been perhaps more helpful than a year with a previous therapist. As the other reviewer mentioned, sometimes Karen does seem to get right to the heard of the issues. Sometimes that is hard to hear, but sometimes that is exactly what you need to start recognizing the things that are troubling you. I look forward to working with her and hope to gain insite and personal growth.
