A retired United States Navy captain, Dr. Keefe received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 1985.

If she spent less time talking about herself, things she would flow more smoothly. Her assistant is too talkative as well. Their lag time in scheduling follow up w/ future appts and follow through and other doctors is extremely slow. Based on my history w/ medical professionals in San Diego, I do not trust them.

I really love Dr. Keefe! She was very thorough and helped me with my problem. She explained in detail what the issue was and how to fix it. Dr. Kelly Keefe is a breath of fresh air.... She is knowledgeable, and extremely competent. She explains clearly. She really solved a problem of 30 years duration of eye discomfort by removing a small mass on my eyelid. No other ophthalmologist had ever even mentioned it as a possible solution! All this and a great bedside manner. She does really seem like a friend, as well as my doctor. Thank you Dr. Keefe !

Dr. Keefe is awesome! I had broken blood vessels in my eye and was completely freaking out because the top half of my eye was completely blood red. I had issues using my insurance but they figured out a way to make it work. She examined my eye, explained what was going on, and made me feel really comfortable. Going to see Dr. Keefe is like going to visit a friend - she's so nice and really makes you feel at home.
