I used mr la cava back in 2015 and his assistant was very pleasant to work with also, they made the process for BK chap 7 smooth and I couldn’t be happier I was scared that I wouldn’t be able to do anything after BK like buy a car , credit card etc but shortly after I started getting cc offers and just to re establish my credit I accepted one and now my credit is amazing and even though it shows Bk on my credit still I have not been turned down for Anything and at this point I’m in process of closing on my new home that I am purchasing , thanks for the help and all the information, I definitely

I should have written this last year when my bankruptcy case occurred, but better late than never!
Richard (and Sylvia) made a stressful process relatively painless. Funny enough, Richard and I shared a laugh as this, unfortunately, was not my first bankruptcy. Richard had been my choice of attorney for my first bankruptcy back in 1992! While many of the processes were different, the excellent attention to detail and thorough review of my paperwork was just as good this time as it was years ago!
So---if you need to declare bankruptcy or at least get the best information available, look no further

We went there for a consultation regarding a bankruptcy case. We spent about half an hour with Richard and he seemed to be very knowledgeable. Normally a business man would try to give advice to clients that would bring business in, but Richard is different. He looked at the case and suggested not to file bankruptcy, because that wouldn't be the best choice for us. We wanted to compensate for his advice and time, but he said: "I've served around 6000 clients so far and have never charged money for a consultation.". Not only great at what he is doing, but has excellent business

I was also new to all of this with no clue how to handle the mess I was in . Being disabled on top of losing everything my husband and i worked our lives to accomplish was to say the least overwhelming . I was new to all this, and R. LaCava's people helped me get through a Chapter 7 (or maybe it was a Chapter 13 -- whatever one you repay partial). They made me feel as though I was going to be okay, as long as I made my monthly payments for 60 months with a money order, which I did and on time.
I cannot give a 5-star rating only because the assistant talked like it was hard to ask him any questions. He reminded me of that teacher that made you afraid to ask questions because if you did, you'd get scolded. Maybe that was just my issue, but I think you know the kind of person I&apos

I totally disagree with Ben G......Richard La Cava was the best thing that happened to me during a terrible situation. Due to a business loss I was forced to file Chapter 13. His firm got me the best terms possible for a payback arrangement and went out of their way to help me. I have since recommended other people with financial worries to Richard.

Absolute Rubbish. Horrible advice and all around poor consoltation experience. Told me to show up early, and then kept me waiting for 30 minutes. Also Tried to get me to file a chapter 13 which didn't make any sense considering my situation. Had I followed his advice, I'd be in a much worse situation.
