Dr. Lavoie is a board-certified pediatric dental specialist, and thus a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has been providing personalized patient care in the Southcoast Massachusetts and Rhode Island area for over a decade.
Besides being proud owner of Lavoie Pediatric Dentistry, he is on staff at Lifespan and CharterCare hospitals, and also serves as a clinical instructor at NYU Langone's pediatric dental residency Rhode Island sites.

Dental injuries happen often, and always when you least expect them. The injury is usually followed by panic and confusion. When in doubt, call us! Dr. Gabrielle (Gabby) Lieberman-Sutton was born and raised in New York. Dr. Gabby ventured out on her academic journey knowing she wanted to have an impact on children's health. She started by earning her Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Ithaca College.
She then received a Master's in Biomedical Science with a concentration in Oral Biology at Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Science to segue into her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from Tufts University of Dental Medicine.

The best pediatric dentistry practice! With two kids (age 22 and 8), we’ve visited my share of pediatric dentists, and hands down Dr Lavoie’s office is the best. From the way they speak directly to the patient in a way they understand, to the overall comfortable feeling of the entire office experience - we love it there, so much we drive 45 minutes! You’d be hard pressed to find a better dental hygienist than Fausto! By far, our girl’s favorite hygienist ever!

Dr Lavoie and his staff were fantastic with my three kids ages ranging from 3 - 8. They more than put them at ease at what they were going to do and explained everything to them in ‘kid talk’ very well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Lavoie to anyone with kids for dental checkups and cleanings that are needed!

We fell in love with this place when we first went a couple months back. Today we went back for our 6 month check up and met Dr. Gabby the new dentist on the team and we fell in love all over ahead. Ms. Lana is always so wonderful with our Skylar and being 2 1/2 going to the dentist is so new and must feel outside of the comfort zone but they always make her feel so welcomed. Thank you to the whole team who does everything in their power to make our little girl feel safe secure and healthy!!!!

Typically I having nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Lavoie and the entire staff. However, today I was extremely disappointed. I arrived with 2 of my 3 children a few minutes before their scheduled appointments. When I checked in, I let the receptionist know that my third child was running late, but on his way. After about 15 minutes in the waiting room, we were called back. My other son had not yet arrived but we were brought back and settled. Within a couple of minutes a third hygienist began prepping another chair asking “No, ____ today?” I responded he should be there any minute

My two year old son had his first dentist appointment recently. Thanks to the very friendly, creative and experienced hygienist and Dr. LaVoie, he allowed all of his teeth to be brushed, polished with the electric brush and scraped! He received a cute little toy at the end for being so brave! As a nervous mom I too was made to feel very comfortable at this office. I would recommend for anyone with very young children!

I cannot say enough about Doctor Gabby and her assistant Melanie. These two are the dynamic duo. My daughter was absolutely terrified of the dentist due to a few terrible past experiences at our previous dentist. The level of patience they have is unmatched. Before Dr. Gabby entered the room Melanie went through the entire procedure putting on quite a show that had my both me and my daughter laughing so hard. When Dr. Gabby came into the room my daughter at first was scared, but Dr. Gabby made sure to take her time to reassure her that she promised to be gentle and that if anything was bothering

Lavoie pediatric dentistry is the perfect place for your child dental needs. The location of the office is very convenient. The space itself is pretty and clean. All staff- front desk, hygienist , Dr Lavoie are awesome. They are polite, respectful, very knowledgeable, listen to concerns well. I always feel that my children are taken care of well here. Dr. Nick and staff are amazing. I have two children who are seen at this office, one who needs a little more care than the other. Every visit, routine or otherwise, is met with care, compassion and an overall sense of comfort. The staff take the time to connect with each kiddo, making them feel special and keeping it light and silly while engaging in conversation during the visit. It’s always a great experience here! The staff is always warm and welcoming and the environment is perfect for children. They always have Disney movies playing and the office is filled with colorful Disney and animal pictures. My 4year old son just went to Lavoie dentistry today for the first time. he has always had a difficult time at the dentist but the staff here were wonderful! they were all dressed in costumes and were so patient and friendly. my son was very worried about sitting in the chair, but they were so cheerful and patient and did not make him feel pressured. they let him stand next to the chair and they got him smiling and he let them brush his teeth! they got him talking about the things he like to do ( decorating pumpkins) and the dental assistant even showed him a picture of his own pumpkin he had carved

My son is on the autism spectrum and dentist appointments have always been very, very difficult for him. we used to go to Commonwealth Pediatric Dentistry in Raynham, and unfortunately, after 3 years there, had a very traumatic visit where the Dr began yelling at my son and telling him I was not going to come into the room to help him, thankfully I… was on the other side of the door and heard this. He is still very traumatized by it. We have been going to Lavoie Pediatric Dentistry for 2 years now, and have seen both Dr. Lavoie, and Dr. Gabby. I need to give a shout out to this practice
