This is a quaint place located in downtown Louisville, and after 4 work trips here I finally found a place I'd come back too. The food was great, there is a superb tequila option between 47 different kinds, and the service was friendly and responsive. The food is reasonably priced and large helpings fill the heartiest of appetites. I had the fajita tacos and had more than enough food. The chips were fresh as was the salsa and the mojito was a perfect way to close a work day.

Last night we were visiting downtown Louisville and came across this gem of a place. Our favorite go to ethnic restaurant is usually Mexican food and this place was absolutely terrific! The service from the moment we came in was very inviting. The place itself was nicely decorated our server was very friendly. The food was AMAZING full of authentic home made flavors in it. We were all extremely happy with the quality and deliciousness of our meals. My family and I were truly impressed and happy to have stumbled upon this restaurant. I highly recommend this place hands down! On another note

What a cute little find with great friendly service. And when I say little it is not. It's quite large with a good sized bar. Soft drinks were refilled often. I ordered a spicy margarita with silver tequila and it was one of the best I've had without making it myself. We shared the House Special Nachos which is almost like a nacho salad but so good. Only complaint was there could have been a bit more guacamole. Yeah it was in there hidden by the lettuce. At first I thought there was none. Crispy tortilla chips (not too thin or thick) come with a mild and medium/ hot salsa which I

I ordered the tacos al pastor and queso dip. The food was good. The rice was a tad salty though. I also ordered the peach margarita which was really good too. If you like Tex Mex and authentic Mexican food then I'd recommend this place because you get a mix of the two. Mostly Tex Mex though. Lastly, they have good salsa too.

This place was across the street from our hotel the queso was like water runny with no flavor the pitcher of raspberry margarita was really strawberry not strong at all not sure if there was even alcohol in it.

I ordered the Al Pastore tacos they were stuffed they just really weren't flavorful at all the kids ordered chicken and steak fajitas just very very bland but that was a good portion my husband ordered the chimichangas it came with two he got one chicken one beef and they were about 4 inches long each not your typical huge chimichangas.

The baskets of chips they gave us were all completely

Stopped in for lunch after a couple days at a conference. Don't let the outside fool you - the inside is well decorated and clean. The food was you mr standard authentic Mexican fare. I had one of the many combo lunch dishes and it was very good. Gave 5 stars because all the staff were super attentive and friendly.

In town for a conference and saw Yelp ratings so had to try within walking distance. The lunch time fajitas was very good, large portion made great for left overs. Enjoyed sitting outside with wonderful service.

Omg! The food is definitely superb! Very friendly, and patient staff! I will definitely eat here again. I absolutely love Laura. We came back the day in a row, and she new what we ordered from the previous day. This trip from Indianapolis was worth it, especially the southern hospitality.

I stopped into Mi Casita today for lunch during a conference downtown. This is a wonderful location which I'm sure brings in a lot of foot traffic. I was having lunch with some coworkers and I met them there.

The first thing I noticed is that I didn't get a chance to ask for a water or one brought to me for at least 10 minutes after sitting down. There were chips and salsa and they were great especially when they brought the super fresh and warm chips. After waiting quite a bit after getting my water the server came back and took our orders. I ordered the beef empanadas without sour

Absolutely amazing staff! Calling them last minute they got a table of 16 people in just 45 minutes before closing and provided incredible service. They didn't miss a single meal or drink order and did it with a smile! 10/10 recommend!

We went to this restaurant because it was close to the hotel. I ordered the Texas Fajitas and they didn't disappoint this Texan. The combination of shrimp, steak, and chicken was excellent. The refried beans and rice were good, but nothing exceptional. Our waitress was both friendly and helpful with menu options and beer selections. The prices are very reasonable and the amount of food will not leave you feeling cheated.

It was pretty good. The hot salsa was very hot, and the chips with beef and cheese were good. The burritos were barely okay. They were covered with a tomato and chili powder sauce that was spicy, but weird. The burrito filling was bland, and the rice had Lima beans hiding in it. It was okay, and different from most Mexican restaurants in the area.

Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine & authentic Mexican dining. Highly recommended. I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of my food!
Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups.
Had the pleasure to meet the owner he was amazing and welcoming. Wish I had Mi Casita on 4th in my city! Definitely will be coming here every time I visit Louisville!

This is an amazing restaurant. Me and my wife walked in right after what was probably a group of 25+ and were seated, gotten drinks, ordered and served all in an extremely reasonable time. And the food was very very good. 5/5

Stayed at the hotel across the street and this was a brilliant find. Chips and salsa were delicious. We got the queso with chorizo and that was tasty as well. We got tacos de barbacoa and carne asada and both were amazing. Service was friendly and great. Highly recommend!

After spending a lot of time in the Southwest, we really miss the Mexican food with all the vibrant flavors that are just so hard to find in this part of the country so we're always wanting to try something new.
We saw the mention on Yelp! And hadn't been near the 4th street area in some time. That area was hit extra hard not only from the pandemic but also was one of the areas the riots took place and it was good to see the area being put back together.
The chips were made in house and had good flavor. Not the typical food service variety. Both the salsas had very good flavor! (I

Expansive menu. In fact many dishes I had not seen at other restaurants and that is why I selected the cochinita pibil. I am a big fan of carnitas, also available, but decided to branch out to a dish I had never had before. Savory sauce, not too spicy, with tender chunks of pork. It goes great with the rice and beans.

Speaking of variety, Mi Casita offers multiple bean options. You can definitely get your meal your way.

Friendly staff all trying to be covid safe.

Good place for casual Mexican food.
Food portions are big.
It would be nicer if they weren't boarded up from rioters smashing things but I guess that's just the world we live in now. Not the restaurants fault.

Mi Casita lives up to its name. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're about to dine with family; friendly greetings and great service.

The chips and salsa beckon with crispy, salty delight; sturdy chips that can handle a real scoop of salsa, with a hearty crunch. Definitely chomp-worthy. The salsa is fresh, homemade, and the spicy version sports just enough of a kick to make your lips dance.

The burrito (carnitas) was delicious and the two different sauces (rojo y verde) on top gave a nice variation in flavors. The pork was tender, juicy, and delicious, but a bit fatty. I don&apos

Absolutely a-ok.

I won a gift certificate to Mi Cocina at my company holiday party and decided it was time to use it. Mostly because I was hungry, had no food at work, and didn't want to spend a lot of money.

My friend and I walked in around 11:15 and were seated right away. There were only two other parties there and we were taken almost all the way to the back, which seemed a little weird. But eh, whatever. As you are being seated, a server follows the host with chips and salsa so you have it immediately when you sit down.
I had already scoped out the lunch menu before we came. I wanted
