Our services include maintenance and repair on all major brands. All work performed by Richard Givens personally. Since the age of nine years old, Richard has been following in his father's footsteps. His experience, capabilities and resources allow us to deliver superior products and services. Finding honest and decent businesses these days is not easy, but I was pleasantly surprised after driving an hour and half that this business owner truly loved what he did. Not only did he fix my machine, so that I could get back to work the next day, but he taught me things while he worked. Never once taking a break, he spent six hours replacing parts, and explaining how to avoid this problem again. I was very pleased with his expertise and polite and kind manners. Thank you so much.

I just started sewing and my machine was already giving me problems. After speaking with him over the phone I was going to bring my machine in the next day to get looked at. I figured out what my problem was shortly after. I noticed something odd inside the machine while I was cleaning and opened it up to find my 2yr old had shoved her memory cards in there haha. I’m giving 5 stars due to how helpful and honest he was with me over the phone. You don’t get a lot of that anymore. I went in thinking I had thoroughly messed up my sewing machine but the woman who helped me actually walked me through loading the thread and taught me a few things about the sewing machine. Her patience and calmness helped me realize that I’ve got some more learning to do on my machine! I’m forever grateful to her! She even said herself “I probably saved you some money!” Yes you did sweet lady! I plan to go back and tell everyone about this place for years to come!

I brought in an old black 99K Singer sewing machine that my sister had in the corner of her house. She got it from her mother-in-law who bought it around 1955. I tinkered with it and made a mess; Mr Givens brought it back to life and it sews better than any of the other machines I have had. So nice to have such a talented person in Mobile that knows his craft.

Mr Givens is a brilliant mind - he repaired my 1890 hemstitch machine - I know it works better than it ever did!!!! Stitches BEAUTIFULLY !!!!! I would trust him with any of my very many machines - he understands how every piece works . My father was a sewing machine repair man for 62 years - he bought this machine for me not to long before he passed away suddenly., so to trust someone with this machine took a lot for me , I hadn't been able to take it out of its shipping box for 15 years.
