Osteoporosis is a disease that weakens bones, making them more susceptible to sudden and unexpected fractures. Osteoporosis is often symptom-free; therefore, the disease frequently goes undiagnosed until an incident occurs. In the United States, about 10 million people are estimated to have osteoporosis, and about 34 million are estimated to have low bone mass, placing them at increased risk for osteoporosis.
I have gone a few times. His staff is always nice, respectful, as far as Dr. Christensen he is a wonderful caring and takes my pain very seriously and I have great respect for his treatment. I have been in so much pain and it has helped me and has made the pain a little more bearable. I have never had a doctor who I like and dislike for the injection but look forward to see him again.
A celiac plexus block is an injection of local anesthetic into or around the celiac plexus of nerves that surrounds the aorta. Normally these nerves control basic nerve functions. In certain conditions, these nerves can carry pain information from the gut or abdominal organ tissues back to the spinal cord and brain.
Facet injections are injections of medications into the actual facet joints performed by a pain doctor. Facet joints are located between each set of vertebrae in the spine from the neck to the tailbone. Facet joints allow each vertebra to move against the vertebra just above and just below it. There are many other technical names for facet joints.

Dr Christensen helped me a lot, but his staff always had trouble figuring out how much I was going to owe. I was supposed to schedule an injection, but now they said I'd have to pay my (tier 2)copay for a consult then another for the injection. If you can afford to see Dr. Christensen, I HIGHLY recommend him. If you can't, good luck. Hopefully I can find someone half as good as he is that I can afford, sometime very soon... 😢

I was looking for a doctor to treat not just my symptoms but the cause of my discomfort. I found that in the care I’m receiving from Dr. Christensen. His staff was professional and courteous. Dr. Christensen instructed me to reach out to him at any time as he plans to be around for the next 30 years! Love a sense of humor!

Couldn't walk for days, and as a nurse that's debilitating to a career. Dr. Christensen is very comforting and you need that when your discussing your future and the ability to walk. Great bedside manner and staff is very friendly and helpful. Have already told many other nurses and friends in general about him and his abilities.

I love Dr. Christensen. I was nervous about going to pain management for the first time because I didn't know what to expect. All of his staff made me feel comfortable and Dr. Christensen explained everything I needed. I've been back multiple times and if I could give multiple 5 stars I would.
It's very easy to set up an appointment and my pain was addressed directly. When I needed another round of treatment, I was in within a couple of days. Thank you to this team!

Very comfortable and welcoming environment. Dr. Christensen’s staff is the best you will find anywhere. I’ve honestly not met a group better. Whitney worked hard to get me in as soon as possible. Lucy and Alex were both part of the team that cared for me. And Dr. Christensen made me less anxious and gave me confidence in his abilities and plan for my pain management. He’s kind and funny as well. There was even a comfortable waiting area for my husband. Really positive experience. Many thanks to all!

Visited the Office today and had a very pleasing and comfortable experience. I am a fully disabled veteran and Dr. Christensen and his staff accommodated me and my special needs without issue. The VA's Community Care is making a difference with this Vet! The backlog at the VA meant I would not be treated until March 2022! The positive experience with he and his staff today were really a breath of fresh air. Thank You Dr. Christensen and your entire staff!

Totally pleased with my care from Dr. Christensen. He is very thorough with his plan of care for his patients and listens to any cares and concerns they may have. He spends time explaining test results and how they affect the patient. He puts his patients at ease from the first visit and is a compassionate and caring physician. I would highly recommend him for treatment and will continue with him for my care.

I feel it’s a little soon to be evaluating a doctor based on only one appointment so this is merely based on this first interaction. He has a great bedside manner. Listened to my story and was empathetic to my needs. I’ve had lower back injections before and they can be helpful. As for this first injection I’m not yet past the week when I was told I would notice pain relief. I’m very hopeful the second injection in a couple of weeks, will make a significant impact on my pain level. As for now at least I feel I have a physician that will work with me to lower my pain threshold. That in itself
