The Moran Company partners with nonprofit organizations nationwide to recruit CEOs, executive directors, senior-level fundraising staff and other key leadership positions. The first 3 weeks include our team's orientation, organizational assessment, stakeholder survey, and completed position profile.

The middle 6 weeks consist of customized recruiting strategies including advertising and personal outreach plus our team's initial screening of candidates. The final 3 weeks of our search process include semi-final and final interviews, background checks, and negotiations. We specialize in smooth leadership transitions and can provide value-added advice and onboarding consultation post-hire.

Bill Moran is known nationwide for his many years of experience as a nonprofit executive recruiter and previously served as a fundraiser for a hospital foundation and a faith-based organization. Mary works closely with all consultants throughout our executive search process and has both fundraising and association experience, as well as a background in community development.

If the person placed leaves within one year, we will do a replacement search at no additional fee. The only cost to you would be minimal direct expenses required to advertise the position again, for example. In the history of our firm, we have only needed to do a handful of replacement searches for candidates who left prior to one year.
Our search process takes approximately 12-14 weeks, based upon our mutual availability and each organization's unique situation. We tailor our recruitment efforts to meet your needs.
