The cost of routine eye exams and prescription eyewear can be of real concern, especially for large families. In many cases, vision insurance can lower these annual expenses. A vision insurance policy is not the same as health insurance. Regular health insurance plans protect you against financial losses due to unexpected eye injuries or disease.
Why are there additional fees associated with contact lens exams, and why do I have to pay them every year? There are more tests needed to fit a patient with contacts such as keratometry. This is used to measure the cornea and to determine the base curve and diameter needed. This is extremely important as a wrong fit could cause damage to the cornea.

Very rude office staff. Visit this doctor only when you can be in time or early, if you are more than 5 min late then you will loose your appointment. Today I had an appointment, I called in advance that I would be late due to traffic and my spot was given to person who was next to me, when i requested can i take other person's spot then I had been denied. No other doctor office denied patient for 5-10 mins delay. More over staff told me I can't seat in the lobby even though no other patient was there. This was breaking point for me. I will never visit this place and will not recommend anyone.

Dr. Lubeck was fantastic. I hadn't gotten my eyes checked in a while, and I'm glad I did so with him. He explained a lot of interesting things about the health of my eyes, what I've done well and what I should continue to do. He went through x-rays of my eyes (optional, though I would recommend it) and explained what exactly I was looking at and what he was looking at. Will definitely come back!

I've worn glasses since I was 2 years old and I've been to an eye doctor at least once a year for the past 36 years. I've been to this location to see Matthew Lubeck 2 years in a row now. I really did not expect much because it's a generic looking mall location. But he's the best optometrist I've ever seen. He uses diagnostic tools I've never seen before. He's great at explaining things. He can see far more about your overall health than you'd expect, just from looking at an eye scan. And the lens prescriptions come out perfect.

The employees give up their Saturdays to serve us. I appreciate that.
They provide the most comfortable waiting room. Comfortable chairs and even a comfortable couch. They even have a Keurig coffee machine. My last optometrist didn't offer that!
Dr. Shah and her staff were polite, considerate, and professional. They made sure I had all my questions answered and they explained everything well.
Dr. Shah went the extra mile. She was so considerate that upon entering, she even knocked on her own door! You don't see that consideration

I have just had my second fitting for glasses with Lakeline Eye Center. I had successful RK surgery in 1980. After ten years, my eyes had changed and I needed correction again. I have had great difficulty in getting a good Rx for my right eye. Three years ago I was fitted here and received the best correction I have had in over 20 years. My vision has changed slightly since then, so I returned. I saw a different doctor this time and was very pleased with his professionalism and patience in getting the best fit possible. Dr. Schukar is excellent and stays up to date on the latest technology

I had an appointment in February 2014. I tried to order contacts through a 3rd party site this past week (September) and they couldn't verify my prescription with Lakeline Eye Care. I called the optometrist... apparently my previous doctor left with no notice, all records, and no forwarding address.
Initially I was mortified. I was was about to leave on a trip and needed more contacts, and only a few days to deal with it.
Lakeline Eye Center handled this incident like pros. They worked out a solution for me that went absolutely above and beyond, and did not act the slightest bit inconvenienced
