After a disastrous trial with another MUA who was heavy-handed it was so refreshing to work with Anny on a natural look. I wanted to feel like myself on my wedding day but she definitely made me look and feel even better. Anny also did my mom and my sister's hair and makeup; each of us had different looks and Anny was able to make us all look and feel like our best selves.
She is versatile, easy to work with, and professional. I definitely recommend choosing her! Anny did such an amazing job with my make-up. I'm prone to breakouts and am super picky about my make-up. I was incredibly nervous about my wedding day make-up and I wanted to make sure that all my imperfections were covered while also maintaining a natural look.

I love seeing Anny for eyelash extensions. She is super kind and is very detailed in her work. I don't prefer dramatic eyelash extensions- Anny does such a great job creating a natural look for me! Her studio downtown is very cute, I always feel relaxed. When Anny applies the eyelash extensions they are 100% painless, no burning sensations. My go-to :-)

For my wedding, I wanted a natural, soft, a little glam look, and Anny fulfilled all my vision and wants! I felt like she made me look and FEEL beautiful, while still feeling like myself! My mom, mother in-law, and everyone gave me so many compliments for my make up and hair! And speaking of hair, I danced all night, and my hair and hair piece stayed in-tact the whole night thanks to Andy! I brought pictures of what I wanted my hair to look at, and Andy did an amazing job to recreate what I wanted! He even cut my hair to make sure the front was a perfect length

Anny and Andy are a power team! I was specifically looking for someone who understood sensitive skin, fine hair, and didn’t treat me as if my skin and hair were an issue. I am SO thankful my wedding coordinator found Anny Chow Bridal! I learned a lot during my trial run, took their suggestions (they are experts in their craft!), and they over delivered on the day of. Anny and Andy are so great. I recently moved to Portland and was looking, sort of last minute, for hair and makeup for my October wedding. They happened to be available and I am so glad I stumbled across Anny's IG and it worked out.
They did full hair and makeup for myself, both my mom and mother in law and my 7 year old daughter. My mother in law was so happy with the way they both made her look and feel she had tears when they finished and my mom looked gorgeous and just like herself which was exactly what I wanted.
I can't recommend them more highly.

Andy was the hair stylist for my wedding this summer. He did two different styles for me (switched on-site between the ceremony and reception). Both were absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted- and that says a lot because I am quite picky! He also styled all of my bridesmaids and my mother and everyone looked incredible.
Andy is clearly passionate about hair. He is meticulous, thoughtful and understanding. I also loved his calm energy which is very helpful before a big event. I truly couldn't recommend Andy more.

Anny and Andy were amazing to work with! I hired them to do our hair and makeup for my wedding, and I couldn't have made a better choice. Both were extremely easy to work with, and very professional. We had a 3:15 AM start time, as I had a morning ceremony, and they arrived on time, ready to work. They were even ahead of schedule in finishing, and everyone in the bridal party looked beautiful. I would 100% recommend them for anyone looking for a great team for their wedding or event. I've even already gone back to Andy for a haircut!

They were detailed, professional, kind, and open to all of my ideas during our trial session. I have thick, long hair and knew that I wanted a half updo for the wedding, and Andy did a fabulous job with my hair. What can I say . . . Anny is great! I needed my makeup done for some professional headshots and thankfully she was able to squeeze me in. I was a little worried because I don't usually wear makeup and I was afraid that I would end up looking "over-done" or unnatural. But I had nothing to worry about. Anny applied my makeup so skillfully that it didn't feel heavy or awkward and it was flawless in the photos. I have never found a good color match for my skin tone, but she nailed it. She even taught me some skincare! Andy was able to work his magic with my flat straight hair and my maid of honor's thick frizzy hair. I highly recommend them both for hair and makeup on your wedding day. I live in Portland but I drove the 30 minutes to Anny's studio in Vancouver because it is WORTH IT. I'm a photographer so I know that great makeup and hair can make or break your session. Anny was so gentle when applying my makeup. I love the lashes she added. Rather than putting on a big piece on each eye, she expertly placed small sections of lashes and I couldn't even feel them. So much better than regular false lashes! I had asked for a natural look and she made me look gorgeous with just the right amount of makeup.

I live in San Francisco and was unable to do a trial beforehand, but I chatted with Anny and told her about my style and what I was looking for. Beforehand she was easy to communicate with and very responsive. On the day she was on time and had a schedule for myself and my 5 bridesmaids. Her and Andy stayed on schedule and were so AMAZING. Anny and Andy made me feel like my most beautiful self on my wedding day. I had a few makeup trials, but Anny blew every other MUA out of the water. She enhanced my featured and made me look natural and effortless, but more importantly I still looked like myself and felt even more amazing. Andy is also a miracle worker. Not even sure where to begin with Anny and Andy... To put it simply, PWC is lucky to have her there and NYC will miss her greatly. My friend hired Anny and Andy in 2016 for her wedding and after that, she did the make up for 4-5 other weddings in our circle of friends, including my own in 2018 because we knew quality work when we saw it. She is so easy to talk to and extremely professional. She listens to what you want and like and delivers it 110%. I'm lucky to have had her beautify me for my wedding and you'll be missing out if you don't hire Anny and Andy.
