Dr. Ben Barkley is a native of North Carolina and grew up in Rocky Mount, NC. He attended NC State University for undergrad, then went on to pursue his dream of becoming a dentist at UNC Chapel Hill. After graduating with his doctorate, he completed a residency at the Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Medical Center for Advanced Education in General Dentistry and has now been in practice for 12 years.

I haven’t been to a dentist in far too long. My teeth are not in the best shape and I was in pain and at times embarrassed about their appearance.
The staff at Lower Creek were encouraging and never made me feel bad for putting my dental care off for too long.
Everyone there from front desk to hygienists to the doctor were wonderful to interact with. I found them all very professional and personable. And believe me when I was there they were challenged by other patients.
They explained my situation and what was needed for treatment. They were upfront and clear on treatment cost and length

It was my first time going back to the dentist in years and I wasn't looking forward to it...they made me feel welcome soon as I stepped inside. I had an appointment on 11/23/21 at 9 am. I kept getting text telling me that my appointment was within 1hour. I pulled up to the office and a paper was taped to the door saying "Closed Due To Repairs." I got back in my vehicle and went home. There was a message on my answering machine at 9:01am about this repair. What gives, I just had a hip replacement that was Monumental to try to get there. This is not the first time this dentist office is closed on regular business hours it seems to stay that way on a regular basis I'm going to find a new one

My wife and I visited Lower Creek Family Dentistry for our 6 months cleaning. We were cordially greeted and taken directly to the dental rooms. Due to the unexpected absence, due to sickness, of the second hygienist the Dentist assisted the hygienist by doing our x rays and keeping us informed of the situation. Both ladies were very apologetic for the slight delays and very professionally made up for the unavoidable situation.
We would recommend this office if you’re in need of dental service.

My visit to this office was wonderful. I got several texts reminding me of my appointment and was able to do all of my paperwork on my phone before the visit. Katy did my X-rays which were quick and painless and really put me at ease, it was my first visit so this was very important to me. The dentist was knowledgeable and quick in his evaluation. Then Trish cleaned my teeth and took great care not to make me uncomfortable since I’ve had some sensitivity in my teeth lately. The ladies even found a phone charge I could use since mine was forgotten and made sure to bring me a blanket since the

Typically I dread going to the dentist, but not here. I switched over to them after my previous dentist went out of service and it was the best choice I could have ever made. The ladies their made sure I was comfortable and made sure to walk though everything thoroughly so I knew exactly what I needed to work on or what they were talking about. Extremely friendly and service is amazing; I definitely recommend making them your dentist.
